  3. words cant describe my love for that intense! Controls nice aswell..
  4. Go away glen, I want advice on frames and headangles not an argument about your bike skillz. Anyone?
  5. You penis, you cant compare a stinky and the xxx, ones a hardcore FR bike that weighs a ton, the others for AM/XC/light FR.. Yea, I REALLY REALLY want a reign, they look the mutts nuts aswell, but there really expensive, gotta be honest Im thinking il go the hartail route to start with, I doubt Il really need the sus to start with, can always upgrade later. Plus I hear that its better to start off on a HT better bike control and stuff. Im going with the on one, you get a handmade english frame for under 100quid! and from what Iv read there really nice to ride, and it means I dont have to skimp on the rest of the spec (pikes, shimano, race face being my main planned brands) Now I have another question, there are basically 2 versions of the on one frame I want, both exactly the same one is the summer season, the other is the standard inbred, the only difference between the two is a slacker Headangle and the price (wierdly) Basically the standard 456 inbred has a 69.5 degree head angle with a 4" fork I belive, Il be running a pike, so thatl mean on the 95mm setting itl be slightly better for climbing, then the pikes will go to 140mm for decending, supposedly slackening the headangle to about 68 degrees ish for decending. However the summer season has 66.6 degree headangle with a 5" fork, so with the pike on 140mm itl be about 66degrees ish (pretty shitting slack) and then with the fork at 95mm itl be more like 67.8-ish. I wana know which will be the best compromise for going up and down. O and the standard 456 is 40quid more than the summer season...
  6. Revolver- I didnt mean to be short, but its not a mainstream kinda shop, its poor, mainly sells dawes bikes. And yea I pointed the 50quid extra for whole bike thing to FP the other day. I wish I was rich, id have a giant reign then.
  7. to be honest the cheaper the better, I know its hard to get alot of bike for a low price, but simply cheaper is better. Id like full sus, but currently that seems questionable due to budget. I would say Im after frame only realllyyy, I can get most of the bits on trade at work

  9. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=123644 Over your budget, but its a very well specced bike for the dorrah.
  10. Hey all, Im after somthing for commuting, and trashing round the woods. Old best just passed his test, and his grandad owns a cottage up in scotland, so there are gunna be a few good old trips up there with beer, bikes and un healthy food no doubt. (hes into single track riding really) Im after somthing that will take a sorta 130-160mm fork, pref hard-tail since I cannot afford a full squish. I want somthing with aggressive decending geo. And Im willing to sacrafice abit of climbing ability for this, however no "jst gt a kona stinky bruv!!!111!" I want somthing that WILL climb aswell. I AM on a budget, been browsing Egay all evening seeing what I can pick up, but there doesnt seem to be too much stuff, they all seem to hold there value amazingly. Was looking at the On One summer 256 or somthing like that, there a slack version of the inbred I think, cheap as chips, think I get them on trade aswell through work, pretty heavy though... and I dunno if the geo is right. Also I dont know what size I want to be getting, on a road bike I fit a sorta 19" frame usually, but I figure with this I want a fair bit more standover, so maybe like a 16" frame? Im a complete n00b at this, I dont need anything great just somthing for weekend/holiday blasts in/up/down the woods. Edit: heres the on one, theres another version of it with a 2 degree steeper H.A both take same length forks n what not, just H.A variation. LINK

  12. Yea, ultra slim bmx seat, like an ECCD or somthing, also Id say slide it back on the rails abit Looks good though.
  13. I wana see the stock assembled..
  14. natural scares the shit out of me.... I think the natural (sorta) near me is abit sorta dodgey though.
  15. My mate had it, it was light but its not bad. That was with 170mm cranks though. Notice hes running like 158mm montys which means it will be stiffer than on a traditional stock with 170mm cranks. That does look SOO nice though, wish my bike looked that good/light.
  16. Yea, I got one off with the spanner and pole, I managed to get it off, although i got a long nut n bolt and bolted the bb tool onto the crank (put the bolt through the crank "hole" (isis or square) and then slotted the bb tool on an bolted it on, no slipping for me, I like my knuckles specially when your chucking your body weight against the bar
  17. Looks good. Is it just me that pronounces the name Are You Long?
