All the same you got to remember its going to be like a 8-10+ year old car at that price no matter what you get.

Mate, you can pick a solid 1.4CL mk.4 up for 1000 if your massivly lucky.

to be honest I wouldnt recomend a polo as previously mentioned, a decent mk. 4 is really going to be 1200+ you can get cheaper ones but they tend to be rot filled etc.

Went to look at a polo today, looked good in pics, seller said it was a great example of a car. £1,150. After a 50mile treck, got there and it was a state, wouldnt buy it full stop but it had to be worth 500 at the very most, it had some savage sill rust, and MASSIVE dent in the rear panel, brake dust had eaten the alloys and the sill by the rear window had bubbled up with rust, whole thing needed a complete respray, door had been replaced and resprayed badly and the whole thing was covered in dents. £1,150 what a joke. What a waste of overly expensive fuel doing the 100miles there and back too.

Im gunna say that max eats at the most 2 of the things on that list. Seems to eat masses of organic/healthy stuff as far as Iv seen, apart from his weekly macdonalds
