  1. snapped my first and got another one on warranty and still have it now but riding mod now, had some fun times on the px
  2. hey, is there anyone out there who knows how to make a comment system much like the one on myspace where you have your page and then comments on a part of the page? i want to do this for a project ive been doing, basically its a flash tutorial site on trials.. and on each stunt page will be my description of how to do the stunt, and i want the comment, somewhere on the same page allowing other people to type out how they would do it rather than relying on my explaination.. urgently need help please.. thanks
  3. yeah you can use it for animation purposes
  4. hey I want to purchase a wide angle lens that will fit a sony dcr-pc101e, I want it so I can video without needing to stand WAY back to get everything in. problem is i dont know what size lens will fit my camcorder. the filter diameter is 30mm, so is that the size i go for or the focal length 37mm? if anyone can help me, id be really grateful.. thanks
  5. hey all, just wondering what problems you came about when you first begun trials? for myself when i started way back in 2000 i couldnt find no books/magazines, not much places online for information on how to do stunts, bike trials, etc. the only way i learnt is through my mates and the tricks and stunts vid. but since then more sites have come up, and there have been magazines like BTM that have been and gone (has anyone got a copy?), MBUK do how to's for trials every so often, new DVD by ryan leech called 'Mastering the art of trials', etc so last question is, what do you think of today's solutions? and also for people who started riding the same time or earlier than me, what problems did you come about when beginning trials? all this is for my uni project and i would be grateful if you can provide some replies, thank you
  6. sorry took so long to get back with a reply, been busy.. a wiki idea would be good as you say but i think i would rather have a page where for example has instructions for a move and how to do it and then near the bottom a place to put peoples own suggestions like a comment box which would be regulated.. i think this would work better.. and since my first post ive had a talk with my lecturer again, and the following came up - as well as how to do moves, a bike maintenance and health and safety section must be included - do people think there is a need for this project? - what would people like to see? features, etc- - would anyone would be willing to team up to work on this project.. - would trashzen be willing for someone to help improve what they already have? the time frame for this project would be now till march/april but i would like for something to be up and working by december just so i can gather views of what people think etc anyway thanks to all who replied and if anyone has anything else to say or would like to contact me, then email me at tristcheng@hotmail.com.. take it easy guys
  7. hey all, for one of my modules ive been asked to think up of any project to do, and so i was wondering whether or not people would appreciate a website based tutorial showing you step by step how to do moves, through pictures, videos, comments, etc instead of coming on here (even though it is a great place to find trials info) to post a new topic every now and then asking how to do this and that.. as well as step by step instructions to do moves, i am also thinking about including a bike maintenance section to further help out fellow trials riders and other bike enthusiast if need be.. ive already put this idea through my lecturer and his happy with the idea although it must include something interactive about it, his idea was making it like wikipedia, which allows people to update the information but i have my doubts about that.. but yeah let me know what you people think, suggestions, all views are welcome as they will help me a great deal when writing up the proposal, and who knows, if it is successful i might put it up on the web in the not so distant future.. anyway guys take it easy and thank you all in advance..
  8. What happend with Ali C, was he was going to put his front wheel on the tail gate but missed, so his front wheel jus dropped an so his bike went in the gap, he jumped off, sat on the tail gate but lost balance an dropped off the side of the tail gate... that wasn't the only crash akrigg winded himself pretty bad... he tried to pop manual the column on the trailer but again front wheel dropped an he literally took a nose dive... an landed on his chest .. an then he slipped off the slide of the trailer....

  12. so yea... ive dug up a few clips well movie size from last years bike show... totally unedited.. ive just cut them down to 4 ok sized videos... ranging from 4 mins to 9mins i think.... and the sizes range from 20mb to 90mb... 90mb being 8 minutes long they are all raw footages... jus compressed down.. so i was just wondering does anyone want to make a video out of them?? if not would anyone be kind enough to host these raw footages (no music, no transitions, etc) because they've been lying around my house for ages.. and i thought that you mite want to see them.. but yea post back whenever and ill get back to you
