You're right Glen, shite idea, lol. That's called denial, it's not something I'd advise, that's pretty much like saying you think it's wrong to date a 15yr old too, in which case you really shouldn't do it in the first place. If you're gonna do it at least be man enough to stand up for yourself and say "Yeah she's 15, so what?" Davey -
Oh this just had to get posted, look at me trying to be hardcore...... what a twat. This was when my old band played the Underworld, could I look more unhappy about it? Let the grumpy emo slating commence (I'm really a happy person, honest)! Davey

Most certainly will! You say that but have you seen some of the pics on here, haha, some people have no choice but to put up rubbish pics, accept Davetrials because he's gorgeous although we think there is some foul play involved in his pic too! You cheeky people and your photoshopping, that's false advertising you know, like padded bras, when will girls learn, small ***! Davey

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread

I recently split up with my girlfriend, I'm 22 and she's 18, we were together 3 years, so when we started going out I was 19 and she was, you guessed it, 15. Never seemed wrong or odd or anything, was never an issue, never got any hasstle from mates or parents accept one time when we went out and she got very drunk and her dad went mental at me. Also never felt she was immature, perhaps I was too so never noticed, but I'd had a full time job for 3 years by then so I reckon I was pretty mature. I think with anything like this it depends on the individuals, so my honest opinion/advice would be to meet up with her, get to know her, see if you get on, see if she annoys you with any sad childish behaviour, do the same as you'd do with any girl, just see if you're compatible and if you are then 100% go for it mate, I for one would have your back on any abuse anyone gave you about her age, because until you've been in that situation you can't judge! For the record, before anyone says "Oh but you and your girlf split up Davey so that's a bad example", I reckon 3 years is pretty good going by anyone's standards, and the reason we split up had nothing to do with age so it's irrelevent, we had 3 very happy years together which I will always cherish and we're still very very good friends! Cutie is an understatement, she's gorgeous mate! I must have been smitten because I missed the obvious pearl necklace joke, I'm losing my touch! Damn you and your distractive loveliness Jenn!!! Only kidding Davey
-
Is anyone else thinking the same thing as me? Corrrrrrr! Jenn I think I have a bit of a crush on you :$ Davey

Yeah I agree, when you got yours you didn't go and copy a whole bunch of music of someone else, you evidently went and picked songs and paid for them, so why should he be any different? Here's what I'd do so as not to look a fanny. Put the ball back in his court, tell him it'd take ages to copy all of them or something and just say if he sends you a list of stuff he's looking for and you have any of it you will copy that for him, because chances are he won't be able to name half the stuff you got if any, so it'll be a five minute job for you, and if he'd done that in the first place you'd have probably done it for him without question, just because he's takig the piss asking for the lot I guess! Stick a password on it, then you can be fairly sure no one is using it! Davey

Topman, River Island, all my jeans come from Jean Station because they are legends, you walk in, say what size you want, what fit you want, what colour you want, the man goes off and comes back with the exact jeans you're looking for, pricey (around £50) but quality and I don't ride anymore so I don't mind buying expensive jeans because I'm not gonna ruin them! Also buy a lot of stuff off Merchnow.com, band t-shirts and straight edge t-shirts, that kinda shizzle! If not from there then from gigs! Davey

Well that's the most insincere gesture EVER! It's Kelly, but I'm not changing the quote, haha. My Pooey baby is just fine, I sent him something nice to cheer him up earlier Davey

Which one, Gallows or Deaf Havana? If the latter, that's my band, haha Davey

Aww, homage to the son of Jon Davey

Blimey, I almost never come into Trials Chat but the one day I venture into it and you'd think I was back in Chit Chat! When people think they have a really good idea (which from his enthusiasm I would guess RyanRs did) they don't like being told it's not a good idea. Fact is it wasn't a good idea, not because anyone is stupid but simply because there are way more factors involved than people realise. But this is how arguments escalate, possible would have been wise for a mod to step in but they're here to moderate not mother us. There is never any need to call each names or make sweeping statements about the northern half of our fair country, that kind of behaviour is never going to win favour is it? Frankly resorting to that kind of abusive language demonstrates a severe lack of intelligence, the ability to debate in a mature and articulate way is something severely lacking on this forum! There is nothing wrong with the way this forum is run at all, without kissing too much arse it's miles better than any other forum I've seen, I think validation works just fine, you will NEVER come up with a 100% accurate validation system, it's not possible. The only problem with this forum is the attitudes of some people on it, so if you don't like this forum then just leave, you'll be happier and so will we! Davey

Definitely "Gallows", saw them the other night and they were amazing, such a great show! However the headliners "As I Lay Dying" bored the god damn hell outta me, for god sake guys write a different song, can't tell where one ends and the other begins. Metal is old now, very very old, unless you're doing something clever with it then just stop! Also loving this band Deaf Havana Davey

Hahahahaha, Joe has gotta win some sort of prize for that, surely he wins the game? Legend! Davey
-
It stands for Tureaud, because that's his name. Laurence Tureaud! Davey PS: Sorry, spoiling the game, erm, I'll go for Titmouse!
-
Yeah aint that a fact, I thought diesels were meant to pull really well up hills! It's nippy up to about 40mph then getting to 80mph can take anything up to about a week! Davey
-
Dan you legend, that's the bollox! Take it you don't have a drum kit, that would've been the icing on the cake! Here I am, what a handsome devil, had my hair cut since then though, it's short now! Davey
-
No me neither, I drive a 106 1.5 diesel, haha! But you have to admit there is a novelty value to owning a car which people assume is going to be slow and then caining them in it! Davey
-
Face like a babies bum, and before anyone says anything just don't go there, lol, it's a well known expression, get over it . But I'm guessing it's not photoshopped because surely the first thing you'd do is get rid of the red eyes, so in fact Dave really must be that fit.... I would! Davey
-
Yeah I know, it was just getting on my nerves, there's no need to be patronising! Anyway, said my piece, on with the Astra Van debate!!!! Personally I'd prefer to have an Astra Van that went like shite off a polished shovel than an Evo........ well ok that's a lie, but I think it'd be fun because people know Evo's are quick so they're not surprised or impressed any more, but they don't expect something that looks like a works van to tear the crap outta them at the lights, would like to see peoples faces I guess, I imagine it's priceless! Davey
-
Looks sweet dude but the pedals spoil it, get rid of them and get some nice black or silver ones, ooooh or baby blue ! Davey
-
I prefer the 2004 ones. I have a 2006 one and the dropouts are a stupid design, I have to pretty much completely remove my quick release to get the wheel off rather than just loostening it, because the dropout has a great big CNC bit blocking it, where as on the 2004 the CNC bit is much further away! I hope someone got fired for that mistake! Davey
-
Sorry Wayne but I'm getting tired of this obsession you seem to have that everyone on here is either about 12yrs old or they drive a car "Mummy and Daddy" bought for them. What are you basing this on? It's patronising to say the least and makes you sound like an arrogant jerk! A lot of us on here are perfectly mature people who own our own cars which we pay for ourselves with money we earn, so stop talking down to us like you're somehow above us all. I doubt in fact that anyone went to look for the "Loud Pedal" as most people on here a intelligent enough to have made the association, it was fairly obvious after all! Davey
-
Hmm, sounds a little that way, possibly just severely pulled/strained it rather than actually tearing it, I imagine if you'd torn it you wouldn't have been able to finish the game and as Smo says it would be black and blue, but either way I think Rugby tomorrow is definitely off the cards! Davey
