the gusseting on the top tube looks like a barracuda subway, but i think the dropouts are different.

after some bodging last night, my rear tube the valve is held togethor with tape and glue., also my hope mono hub is running a a modfied Biro spring.

no tyre fold.

I take it for granted living in a fairly "nice" area, but there are still pricks i would avoid walking home late at night, but nothing as bad as allot of the stuff in this thread. hope the guys concerned make a good recovery

so he atchully removed the material from the brake mount to make it even with out a facing tool? i dont think pikeys can even do that.

how do you intend to face your brake mounts your self? the only place which does it round where i live are big bike shops in big town.

My rear tryall rim is the shape of an egg, and my hope mono went bang the other night. also my hope mono trial leaks soo much its like a waterfall, often looses all power but regains it when you pump it several times.

I have a curtis super X and the build quality is brilliant. for an XC bike i dont see how the Excentric bb would be of any use as you would proberly be running gears. if clive is up for building you up a XC frame i dont see any reason why you shouldnt go for it.
