  1. I finally got my bike back from bein built up today so was looking forward to goin out on it tonite but when riding it home i realised the chain was skippin. So when i got home i had a look at it and it looks tight enough so it cant be that and it cant be the front freewhell beacuse its brand new along with the rear sproket. The only thing i can put it down to is the chain size the chain ( one off those khe ones off tarty) looks a bit for the sprokets or the rear tensioner jocky wheel is a bit worn but looks gud for a bit yet. I was wondering weather its worth gettin a new tensioner and which style to go for, one with a jocky wheel or one with a roller. cheers
  2. yeah i coulnt agree more, now i have a set off isis middleburns and an echo isis bb fair enough it cost more than the square tapper versions but i would say its worth the difference. go isis you no you want to.
  3. its got to be ford. fords are the way forward escpecially is it has cosworth in the name, but i must admit the latest modles are letting the side down. i dont no what favourite one would be though i reckon it would be between a wrc mk3 1700t, martin hadlins old and new escorts and his mondeo or a mint mk5 radiant red rs 2000 4x4 with an escort cossie engine and wide wings. a well thats me done enough dreaming for one day.
  4. i use echo flat bars on my control and they suit me fine. i had a go on my mates bike wen he had flat bars and riser bar on it and i must admit i liked it better with the risers on it but as i said i like mine with flat ones. hope thats helped
  5. although it says wanted in the title he isnt actually wanting a second hand pair (i think anyway) hes wondering were you can still buy them, but still its a bit off a dodgey topic may still be against the guidelines.
  6. nah no way man its 3 years old now. i dont wont to disapoint you but i think you would be lucky to get over £100 for the frame
  7. i started trails on a t-raptor and still have it to this day wont ever sell it.
  8. click on "my controls" beside the new post link. then go down the left hand columb till you find change avatar and its simple to do from there. hope that helped
  9. i have an echo control an onza t-raptor and an old da-bomb 20" frame with the rest off the parts off an old onza t-pro.
  10. i have one off these and i cant say i have ever felt a damp patch when i took it off. but there is some truth behind the sweating, if your frame was made out off steal (which i hope it isnt) and if you get salt water in the down tube and it stays there for a while it will "sweat". that doesnt mean it will leak through the down tube it means the inner off the down tube will oxodise and you might see wee white speckals on the outside of your down tube. seen as your frame will be made out off aluminium you should be fine. so there is some truth behind the sweating but the chances off it happening to your bike is virtually zero. i think your mates are taking the p*ss out off you.
  11. i heard that they may come loose aswell but when i bought mine and thought i would put it together to see what it looks like, i spun the freewhell on and just buy spinning it on i couldnt get it loose with out a lot of force plus when you pedal its tightening so i cant see them coming loose often and if it does i doesnt take much to tighten them up again. hope thats helped
  12. i would buy a zhi wavey disk cause it aint expensive and it was built with trials in mind. zhi disk hope thats helped
  13. this is one off these stupid questions cause there aint no answer to it. i use an 05 hs33 with blue koxxs and a grind and it works for me, that doesnt mean it will work for you. try and ride other peoples bikes to get an idea off what you like but its all really about trial and error. hope thats helped
  14. this happened to me about a month ago and it happened to my mate last night. when i done it i stipped the threads on the tba so i took it back and they replaced the hole lever for free, last night on my mates one there was just some crap in the threads so we took it off clamped the flat bit and turned the lever around till it freed off, it is still stiff to turn but atleast it works. i must admit if it was my lever i probs wouldnt do that until tarty refused you a replacement. hope thats helped.
  15. i use koxx blues and a medium grind because our summer is like most peoples winter and they work fine in the wet weather aswell providing you dont use tar. hope thats helped
