  9. As with all brake pads it depends what setup you have if you have a grind go for something like rock pads blue, if you use tar the brake pad really wont make much difference as the pad hits the tar rather than the rim. mike W
  10. thanks for the replys, come to think of it my bb weighs a tonne! allthough i would rather have a strong bike than i light one so it would cause more trouble than its worth, i will have look about pedals and chains. any chance of a link to the ti spokes please ? thanks again, mike W
  11. The back of my bike seems to be rather heavy and i was wondering if it could be something to do with the fact my spokes are some kind of steel, would changing them to aluminium make a big difference to the weight or strength of my back wheel ? With the components on my bike i would expect it to be rather light. I have also looked on a few websites and my tyre (maxxis cc) seems to be much lighter than most other trials tyres. The rear wheel is a profile mini cassette hub on try all rim built with mutiny bmx spokes i think. so does any one know any non extreme fag ways of reducing the weight of a bike ? thanks alot, mike W
  12. to put a vee such as an avid ultimate on a mod you will need vee adaptors which convert the origional magura mounts to a vee brake mount, virtualy the same on many stock trials frames mike W
