  7. first of all what rim do you have and how far are your pads from the rim
  8. you have rounded the tapers on your cranks unfortunately there is nothing you can do about this as when they start to round they keep going. This would more than likely have been caused by riding with the crank bolts loose. you probably didnt notice. isis is the better option and this style of bottom bracket is partially stronger just keep riding on your cranks now until christmas , they should hold out till then (if you dont go too big). Ask santa to bring you a skf bottom bracket and a pair of these tensile cranks or if you want a cheaper set of cranks get these echos max...

  11. to be totally honest mate its best to get a grind if you are going to be riding in the winter in wet conditions. if you dont know what a grind is its this. clickety click the purpose of a grind is to make your rim sharp so it increases friction rates when your pad rubs against it. more friction means faster locking and better holding pads and in tuen a satisfied and trusting rider who can rely on his/her pads. the grind also helps shed water from the rim and makes your brake squeek really loud. do do a grind all you have to do is get an angle grinder turn it on (obviously) then skim it lightly across your rim with the grinding disc about 45 degrees to your rim. drag it along the braking surface nice and lightly and repeat this on both sides until all of the surface is rough then buy a pair of pads that are meant for wet weather such as rock blueskoxx brownsheatsink red or bluescoustsinkswww.tartybikes.co.uk for the rock and koxx www.heatsinkbikes.com for the heatsinks max.....

  17. hi there if you are just starting out i would reccomend a 20" bike from the onza range the onza t pro is what i'd advise you to look at in particular as it features many good parts and has very good geometry. (nice bike to ride) might have to wait a while though as they are not yet in stock. linky or if you would prefer to start out on a larger bike such as a stock bikes with 26" wheels i would say get the onza t - rex as it again is an ideal bike and features some strong parts.very good value much like the t pro. linky however...if you do not wish to buy either of these types you could also invest in a 24" wheeled bike such as a onza zoot.these bikes are aimed more at the bunnyhoping so called 'bmx style' of trials and it less suited to massive gaps sidehops and things like that.this bike also features some very strong parts and is again really good value. if none of these bikes appeal to you then how about trying a search on e bay and buying there usually there are some very good trials bikes both 20" 26" and 24" being sold dirt cheap and delivery is dead quick. if you get a trials bike you might want to think about getting some good brake pads as the ones that have come standard on the bikes that i reccomennd are not soo good. i would strongly advise you to get either the plazmatic crm pads , onza citrus , koxx bloxx browns or the rock pads. a good back break is essential for all trials riders it can be the difference to falling off and hurting yourself badly and making it and not falling off and getting more confidence. the pads can all be found here. linky good luck with trials! max
  18. very nice indeed. looks crap without the seat though!!! they ride really good too max...
  19. actually no...hold the front brake on then do a gap to the object.let your front wheel land on top of it and shift your weight forward then stoppie on.eventually you will get used to this. and will be able to switch to back wheel.to shift to back wheel suddenly change your weight from being forrward and pull it right back. try this on small walls to startwith though...then progress.usually best to try in on a few pallets at first or maybe a one foot or so high wall max...
  20. try looking on www.trashzen.com
