+1 I use them on everything anything else feels alien.

Stick to the rigid forks dude bit lighter, think of the major harsh landings folk on bmxs take with rigid forks, you`ll get used to it and your muscles will develop the more you ride but a few push ups certainly wont do you any harm.

My mate got some nylon extensions turned on the lathe in his work and he has been running them for the best part of a year, solid as a rock!

My estimated guess from picking it up in my hall is.... its bloody light considering its a solid build that can be abused.

Cheers for the advice boys. I was shocked how good the rear v was to be honest a little sticky feeling at the lever but I've ordered some linear slick cables to sort that i hope. Keep your eyes peeled in bike pics, ill hopefully have it up when i get my seat post made up.

To be honest i have a pair of plaz pads for the front but they are to bloody good there either on or off.

Recently purchased a Curtis T1, both frame and fork have v-brake mounts I have a full front XTR setup with the linear arms and standard pads for modulation and stoppies. On the rear i am running an avid 5 full setup with Plaz, cnc backings and XTR carbon booster. I`m looking for advice on setting the brakes up. Best cables to use? lube to use? Should i run the xtr on the rear etc? I basically want to setup what I've got the best possible without having to replace any of the major parts or spend to much cash. Thank you

oft its a perfect build if the frame and fork was white like your pashley i would loose my load over it.

If i were you i would pm Ross Mcarthur about the geo of the ET and the Inspired as he has owned both and he also rides for Marino, so he will be able to help you with your frame choice and specs. He Knows his Peruvian bikes!

Well after having a read at what everyone's chat was on this thread i decided to email hope bumming how good the pro 2 is kidded on i rode a mod and asked if it was possible for them to modify the hub to fit a 116mm spacing. This is the reply i got. Hello james,there is no way modifying your current hub but we are working on a model of hub to suit what you require but have no idea when it will be available so hopefully sometime will be able to get it onto the market. many thanks nick Let the waiting commence but if your 10 years old i think you may well have a beard buy the time you get a chance to buy one.
