  1. buy it Ok this is what you would use on a shimano hub to give it a standard freewheel threading. but why? shimano hubs are trash anyway, once you put a decent freewheel, say a tensile 60 click ( £35 ish ) thats getting up to £95. Or buy a because screw on hub and use a tensile freewheel ( either by welding the lockring / supergluing it shut or buying a RFW version ) which would work out approximately the same price, ( in reality £10 cheaper ) leaving you to spend £5 extra on the new spokes necessary. because hub You would then have a very strong wide flange wheel build, sealed cartridge bearings and a far more specific wheel instead of a heavy kludged solution. This would also be massively lighter too, and transfer the weight to the front of the bike if you used a front freewheel.
  2. Good stuff, haven't met you yet, but should be a good sesh Sweeeeeeeeet
  3. So to celebrate the start of next years riding season....how about a massive London Ride on the 2nd anniversary of the behomoth that Jack Meek organised? Post in here if you're up for it peoples, lets try and get some support going for it. Would be great to get some international riders over too

Really liked that, edit was pretty good... and I love that really whippy sidehop style
  9. Just buy a rotor off CRC for a tenner... dont piss round with ebay and its 1-3weeks delivery
  10. Ah cool cheers for the help you lot decided on getting some alloy nips, but keeping 3x as I already have the spokes.
  11. In other news if you have the patience to use them for a while they are pretty good once the ti-nitride has worn off the braking surface.
  12. Anyone got any idea roughly how much weight you would save radial lacing when compared to a standard 3 x build? Double butted spokes. Cheers edit: oh and alloy nips versus brass.... the weight difference for 32
  13. Best pedals I've used Tr caged crack on the body, TR flats just dont grip your shoes like threaded pin pedals like V8's or MG1's. Import some Mg1's on ebay.com, under £30 i think?
  14. Rear der Kaiser or minion... Kenda small block eight up front. Sorted
  15. I very much like the Heatsink coust pads, and Steve at heatsink himself.... but the pads are clearly different compounds. You only have to use some "real " coust pads to realise!
  16. It's this. New pad time, or at least re adjust the offending slave
  17. yup, just loosen the non drive cup and tighten the drive side fully against the frame. Now tighten the non-drive to secure the BB in place. remember that the drive side is reverse threading
  18. Great brakes...but not massively strong in my experience. Cracked 3 calipers when I ran them, but easily the best performing disc I've used.
