  1. Think it says you can have the forks in orange or black
  2. Blimey... very nice. If i could do that as a full sighted rider i would be very happy!! Top man.
  3. If you use a fork with a lower offset then you would be close to your 1070 i guess
  4. As i tend to do the camera work there aren't many of me riding!! Here's a couple from the early part of the summer...
  5. Becoming a "Jon Mack cast off" special this bike Had his Tryall cranks off him and am looking after his carbon bars in case they float away.... jeez they are light! What you broke this time?

I had some plazmatics recently from them and it was next day.... contact them first before slagging them off, bound to be a reason.
  9. I dunno... looks like you can stash your sarnies in the frame!!!
  10. After an enquiry to Pashley about the frame that Tim Steadman is riding, i am a steel frame lover at heart, I recieved a PDF file from them and a message to say that a small quantity of the Frames and fork are now available directly from them. Hope you guys don't mind me posting it here!! ... sadly I haven't the spare cash at the moment but would hate others to miss out on the classic feel of steel Pashley Frame and Fork info .PDF file
  11. Other way around for me... BikeTrials is training for my motorcycle Trials!! Builds better balance, confidence and also stamina. Just ride the bike for as much time as you can...
  12. Tarty's have the spec list up now.. Yaabaa at Tartybikes
  13. Get your bars on there Jon and see what it looks like then .. and cheers for the cranks. Make soooo much difference after the 160mm ones i had on.
  14. try these... http://www.nrgenterprises.com they are the Canadian distributors i believe.
  15. Cheers all... doing it on the cheap at the moment as i want to see what they feel like. Obviously if i prefer the risers i have in the end i would have paid out for a new stem i wouldn't use. But knowing the rough idea of length and degree rise from you guys lets me keep an eye out for something cheaper secondhand or whatever.
  16. cheers... was thinking on a tad longer stem and say 20 degrees rise which would put it nearly where it is now with the flat bars.
  17. better still.. make a video of it Not working
  18. After a few weeks and several rides i am just about getting the hang of this lark again... nothing special but enjoying it non the less. I can backhop ok and even do some small drop-offs... and a small gap or two!!! After a bit of changing around to see what feels good this is what i have at the moment. 2006 Echo Pure, Echo Hifi forks, Tryall cranks, Echo rockring, Hope hub rear with self built and drilled planet-x rim, Hope mini on the front and V's on the back with an RB design booster on heatsink V adaptors and plazmatic pads, Rohloff tensioner.. etc etc. I have a set of Pazzaz Carbon flat bars to try and wondered what length and rise you would recommend for the stem ... i am 5' 11" and prefer a more upright stance (saves the old back, don't you know ) ...now with atomz stem and carbon bars...

If you already have a cnc machine but not the others then it saves investment money... Do like that Z1 in black....
  20. What he said... Steel frames are lovely to ride and easier to repair. And don't suffer from the fatique problems of ally

Looks like i have a motorcycle trial on the same day ... but if that goes tits up what classes are you covering. Beginners over 40's class for me is there?
  22. Riding today in Bristol next to the 10 metre deep lock area.... Tony missed his footing and was about 6 inches away from an early bath ... and i think Mick misunderstood the phrase "side hop"

That you Joe ? Is that the same place as the motorcycle round was held this year?
  24. i used to use just a rear mech as a tensioner.... some years ago. I used the cheap shimano short cage mech and just adjusted the screws on the back of it to keep it in one position then shorted the chain so the mech was almost at full stretch. I used a neoprene frame protector and let the mech rest up against it. was spot on until i landed on it one day and broke the mech hanger tab off!!!
