Main thing Martyn told me about is he has worked with geometry a lot... and the disc mount will be between upper and lower stays. He has colours and design basically worked out but that will remain hidden until nearer release time. Not sure that the Justice name is staying though. i actually like the colours, just in a different design perhaps. and the best news... i got some relentless stickers to go on my oldskool Giant ... oh, Martyn and the show are at Newquay for the end of this week if you want to see it for yourself. You can go to the ANIMAL site and click on events and then the biketour logo to get the dates for the rest of the year.

No one has seen one yet... apart from a few people in Italy and Spain. If the price is a lot cheaper than the present bikes then it may be worth looking at but build quality will need to prove itself first. Don't get a gasser, get a Beta Much better build quality and ride very smooth. And that classic Ally frame .... me, biased... never

Just a few piccies from today of Martyns bike... well used but he's still adjusting bits for when they will go into production. http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w18/r2w...shtonprototype/

When You Think Old School What Do You Think ?
r2wtrials replied to BenLeacock™'s topic in Trials Chat
... as i was driving past it the other day there was a couple of lads on bikes doing the same thing!!! -
My two bikes at the time... around 1999 i think. Can't find the bigger version of this image so for those that can't see them it is a Beta Techno and a Sunn team issue. ... funny thing is... i am still using most of the same cycle parts on my Giant frame

When You Think Old School What Do You Think ?
r2wtrials replied to BenLeacock™'s topic in Trials Chat
I had a rocket ... and a Sunn team frame. But then i am old school anyway. In fact, so old i nearly forget what school i went too! I still ride an old school set up... Giant team frame with a V brake on the rear and a hope on front. Mavic 121 rims and it has a seat... well, a small trials one. But it at least lets me play and practice for my motorcycle trials... and it was cheap -
.. also must point out. My dad has just sold his 690 ktm supermoto and 990 super duke ktm this week to get 2 new suzuki's including another drz400 supermoto... he is 72!!

Hiya Tony... fancy seeing you here Yep, i am 43 this year. Tony and i ride with another 42 year old, Kev. We are all basically at the beginner level but the main thing is we have a laugh and it helps keep us fit. It also helps my motorcycle trials.

Swindon Area, Ride Location Wanted!
r2wtrials replied to r2wtrials's topic in Member Organised Rides
... forgot to say, a googlemaps link to the location would be nice cheers -
Right then... there are 3 of us over 40 year olds playing silly buggers on bikes again. We live in Weston super mare, Bristol and Swindon. So far Tony, the swindon one, travels all the time to us. So it is about time we found a little place for us to ride near him to make it fair. The problem is, we are almost total beginners, and we don't want to spend all day crashing into concrete. What we need is a rocky area or a variety of low level stuff for us to learn and have a laugh on. We are also shy and don't want to be spotted too much Our normal riding is this.... HERE IN WESTON (ignore the youngsters launching gaps, they are just silly So, can anyone help... within 10 miles or so of Swindon. Cheers.

That man again... without the mask ... also in weston today. And had to get one of Jon as well... sorry about quality of pictures, i had put everything away just before you turned up and just grabbed the camera. Forgot to up the shutter speed -
what bits.... what bike?
-
The best for championship stuff... revs like mad. But possibly not the best to start with... mind you i am biased, got to be a Beta
-
A 1998 gasser txt will be about a grand or less... i have never used more than 5 litres riding a full day!!! It is in fact a cheaper sport than cycle trials!!! You lot pay about a grand for a complete bike and then some rip off prices for the parts that you break, and they break far more often and easier on the cycle stuff. Unless you are really unlucky you will perhaps bend a lever in a fairly big crash. The biggest drawback is bike transport... you either need a car with a towbar, a van or a Dad with one

Drink wisely reminds me of a great quote... Whilst sitting in a deck chair in the middle of a field at the hawkstone world trial a couple of years ago... and just before he fell backwards off it at 3am. Kev, one of our r2w old boys, said " I know my limits, and i've had too much" Have a good one everybody.... hop sensibly

you youngsters think you have a problem understanding him... what hope has an over 40's guy like me got!! Now if he was on the TrialsCentral forum he would have been banned from the 2nd post!!... no text talk at all put up with there. But we are all old My standard Beta 270 rev3 was on the way thanks to added money from parents... these may not be your average parents though. My dad is 72 and so far this year he has brought a KTM 990 superduke and a 690 supermoto. He sold his MV-Agusta f4 recently. So bikes are in our blood! Now i have been made an offer by 10 times UK champion and runner up in the world Steve Saunders for a special build Beta with black frame and all sorts of silver carbon fibre... Dad wants to help with the extra cost as well.... Christmas is a great time of year, even though i am an athiest !!
