  1. in my experience, the best pads on a grind at the moment seem to be heatsink batch B's (the clear ones) the grip is amazing!
  2. could try heating it with a brazing torch (if you have one) and then using a hammer, bash it back into shape? i don't know if that would work though! mite make the disc warp slightly :P

    Koxx

no they are not. shocking rims NSE also deal with Koxx, but i would reccomend cleanbikes Edit: Halfords can order Koxx stuff, but it all comes through NSE, and for rims i would strongly reccomend onza ronnies :P
  4. look, IT WILL NOT WORK! okay? :P levelboss's barely take a 2.5! i have less than 1mm clearence each side (and with my old wheel, the tyre rammed into the chainstay with each kickhop! was a poor build though) and it still did it when i got my HD king axle! Edit: and why would anyone want a 2.7" rear tyre!? the weight is just stupid, and it feels horrid on the backwheel becuse the tyre has so much rolling resistance, even at high pressure

    Brake

    what rim are you using?
  6. yeh, same as me (although i find grinding close to the 90 degree mark a bit sketchy! (Y) )
  7. someone lock this topic PLEASE!
  8. well i have 2 brand new stone cutting discs (and three buggered metal grinding discs :turned: ) so i'l give the stone ones a go
  9. what discs are most people using to grind their rims? At the mo, i'm using metal grinding discs, but after 1 grind they clog up and stop grinding properly (so i'm having to buy new discs for nearly ever grind!) so do stone cutting or grinding discs etc work better?
  10. looks ok, not really my cup of tea though. at least you still have a front brake!
  11. correct  have a look at the one Ashton is using in Tricks and Stunts
  12. it's fine  just indentations from the axle flexing, forcing the freehub body down into the ratchet  my old Hope did the same
  13. no, it's more like saying paper and trees are the same thing  obviously you can't make carbon fibre without carbon, but a chunk of carbon on its own is no good for making carbon fibre
  14. yep, guess where my old KMC chain snapped? (N)
  15. carbon is a different thing to carbon fibre! :D go stick some bread in your toaster, burn it, and the black shite is carbon :P don't think you could make a disc rotor out of it though! :P
  16. very nice stealtly look (N)
  17. just what i was thinking, why not just buy a bmx? how the f*ck can you ride trials on a 'trials' bike with no front brake? sorry for the negative post, just my personal thoughts, but i hate all this mixing-trials-with-bmx crap
  18. yep, and he thinks they are shit!! :(
  19. no, but andy P phoned them for me, and they said they don't have any, and they won't have any in stock until the new ones arrive
