  1. use water and anti-freeze it will stop it from freezing up in the cold winter months
  2. if you use the submerged method for bleeding your maggies that should loosen up the side which is sticking water does not damage the brakes unless the freeze up and the leavers hit something(by falling over etc)i have gone through 2 levers by this happening if you add anti-freeze it does not clog anything up and if your bike does fall against anything they will just push the pads to the rim as it does when you brake normaly
  3. yeah if i was you i would go for it at the end of the day if you dont like it you can sell it on for more and get a different brake
  4. front hope of some kind rear magura hs33 i don't ride with this set up yet but when i can afford it i will be doing
  5. thanks dude i think when i get the cash and pay my bike off i might have to invest in some of those cables
  6. yeah they are easy enough to bleed but if you need help there was a topic on here not long ago telling you how to bleed brakes hope this helpes adam trials
  7. i was out riding today and after doing a fairly embarrassing bail from a drop off i had no pressure in my brakes i looked down and my hose connecting the two calipers had split. i had a replacement at home from another hs33 but does anyone know of any stronger replacements to stop it happening again please help me adam trials
  8. hey if you brake is leaking you eiter need to tighten up your hose and bolts or need ned a new hose. if you do need to tighten them you will need to bleed them hope this has helped you adam trials
  9. make sure you have loads of tension on your chain because i had that sort of problem on my old bike until i added loads of tension lol
  10. the echo rims have had better reviews everywhere i have looked so i would go for them
  11. i am starting this topic to see what bike you would prefer an onza t-rex or a mission reefer. i have tried both and like the t-rex better
  12. i would go for the onza because it looks like a mod rather than a shrunken 26" and also the onza rides better it may only come with v-brakes but maggies are easy enough to set up
  13. i think at the moment it is because of me having a shorter frame but in the near future i may have the same problem as i am upgrading to an ashton or an adament frame
  14. hey most 20" bikes would be good to start on because they are small and easy to throw around lol i had a 20" to start and can now on my 26" do some seriously high hops compared to a mate who got a 26" before me and cannot do anything
  15. sorry rob when i posted i was on the phone to a mate called tom

  17. hey me and a mate have both bought onza t-rex trials bikes however mine is old skool and his is new skool. in the couple of weeks we have had them i can do more is it because the frame is shorter?
