How you getting a headset onto that? I had no choice once but to chop and weld some 26" forks so that the maggy mounts lined up on 20". Worked a treat! Survived a 3 week roadtrip and are now retired in the shed

Fair play, that was on the verge of a silly tf debate! I think the whole concept of a hat helmet is slightly wrong. It may look good, but you don't want to be setting a poor example to kids and new riders. I'm proud that trials riders on a whole wear helmets, unlike bmx.

Well regardless, just buy a lid not a hat. Job done.

It split an old chain and use the circular centres. Done it in the past.

Could need a new o-ring on the lever piston, but if like you say the lever returns before the slave, sounds like another sticky piston (slave) issue. I just drop a few drops of lube.. fairy liquid.. spit.. whatever onto the slave piston whilst the pad is fully out, and just work the lever loads so it lubes it up. Also make sure both your pads are an even distance from the rim without any tpa on first.

It would have been better if he'd worded it more along the lines of "that headset seems a tad steep buddy, could you drop a little on it". We've all received these sorts of comments though, and frankly I think you were the immature one in this instance. But hey ho. It's done now. It'll probably fetch near what you're after on eBay

No it was overpriced end of. Considering you can buy them new for 75. And you acted like a total dickcheese in that topic so of course we all got on your back about it. He did nothing wrong by that comment, in fact your response deserved a warning if anything.
