yeah it's in the for sale thread

  7. That couldn't work, ever. But I agree about the booster idea, and generally designing something new instead of the same old.
  8. Looks fine to me. It's pretty hard to judge in a photo though. If its making a grinding noise it's out.
  9. are those water coolers in the wheel supplied by HEATsink? lololololololloolllllll11!!!1 or just for when you're thirsty? edit: actually quite ashamed of myself
  10. You need the cream the gp gave me, but only if it goes yellow and gets worse
  11. 7.1?!? I mean. 7. POINT 1. YOU MAD?!
  12. You can indeed use your current rear wheel. It's no essential that you change to a singlespeed setup (removing the rear cassette and replacing with a 15t sprocket), but it's the norm in trials, knocks weight off too. Shouldn't be too hard providing that it's a splined hub (check www.tartybikes.co.uk if anything I'm saying goes over your head and you'll soon figure It out). As for the freewheel, probably best you send it to tarty to remove as they are a tricky bugger
  13. You want a rear fixed wheel with a freewheel. I reccomend buying a new freewheel (pick up an echo sl off here) and getting a new sprocket for the rear to replace that cassette. Also a sprung tensioner
  14. I ride with mine even further down
  15. I know but he really does goes on about some junk.
  16. No. How can you possibly call someone a dick for having a different opinion to you? If that's who you aspire to be, fair play. He's just a very dated rider in my eyes. He is very good at what he does, but I don't believe he warrants the credit he receives. My main beef with leech, is the way he waffles on about absolute cheese. Trials is a hobbie, a sport to some. But not a way to solve world poverty.
  17. My age has no relation to my opinion on him as a rider. As with most things, the elders of a society will always look back on 'the good old days' so to speak. I can understand how he's rated in terms of pushing the sport into the eyes of the media with dvds, demos and such. I can also understand how it's impressive that he can even get on the back wheel of a norco. HOWEVER. Even with all that taken into consideration, he isn't earning big money based on his riding ability. It's his long term commitment and social skills that have got him where he is. He's naff though.
  18. I have to admit, I wouldn't get up a curb on his setup. And he has a huge rep and following. I have his art of trials DVD - dire. But he simply doesn't compare to any modern riders.
  19. Knew it was coming. No, no I'm not.
  20. Crazy considering he's a pile of crap
  21. Use anything, a file, sandpaper. We actually grinded a pad down out of the car door once in a car park holding it on the floor.
