  1. I thought it was Ti spokes? And that's excellent riding! In my country, we would call it "smooth like water" (it's broken English).
  2. From prolong holding of the knive?
  3. Robbery is, about 2000 cases a year, given our small population. And phone theft in schools is common too. My friend said during secondary school, he stole someone's phone and put it in his bag. After school, he realised that phone was stolen out of his bag! The no of handphones outnumber my country's population.
  4. hahaha The first pic, isn't that dish salmon sashimi?
  5. Well, when they get back to the station, they will check it against their record of stolen handphones, to check if your phone is a stolen phone. If so, then they'll come knocking on your door.
  6. In my country, I find that the police don't really have a problem with us. They at most record our particulars and our handphone IMEI numbers. The worst is security guards. They always tell us not to ride outside the shops and threaten to call the police, but aren't they already the security personnel? People in my country always seem threaten us by calling the police. Once an old man got mad at us for riding so he took out his handphone and pretended to call the police!
  7. Came across these pics in my comp. I was in China last year for my polytechnic attachment to some engine company. Was walking around the streets one weekend and met this trials rider! His name is Guan Yi. Back then I was just interested in trials but not really into it yet, I could only do a few pedal kicks. This chap influenced me to ride trials and I bought an Echo Lite from there, good thing all the parts could squeeze into my luggage (he says his frame is a koxx levelboss with zhi decals)
  8. My friend says all trials riders have those fingers. I didn't believe him at first and he told me to compare mine to see. I got quite a surprise.
  9. I'm pretty sure someone has posted this recently. Anyway, I may be wrong, but I read that it was something to do with some "weight distribution", since the freewheel is at the BB, meaning centre of the bike, the weight is more centred/neutral. I also think that having the freewheel at the BB means you could engage your chain instantly, reaction time faster. Having it at the hub means you have to engage your chain first (the sag), then engage the hub.
  10. Yes, they're by Cannondale. Not sure if they're still in production. They're really strong and light. Steel steerer. About 100g heavier than the Echo fork?
  11. Yep, plenty in my country, and it costs £20 at most.
  12. Sweet! and what tensioner is that?
  13. It's a Black Market 3'' bar, alu. And it's lighter than my Azonic PDW 2''
  14. I was using the shadow conspiracy bmx seat, but the rain water always get soaked into the cushion, so I stripped off the cushion. It's "lighter" and has a more "carbon seat" look. Lost my 74kingz tensioner, it just dropped off So I'm using a cheap da bomb tensioner now. I changed to Maxxis Holy Rollers too, feels so much more nicer than the k-rads (I find them too thin and hard). I also got my one of the 4-bolt mount heli-coiled, but the rim is too narrow to use the 4-bolt clamps. The evo clamp is good for now. Some changes coming soon: Echo forged black crank. The current crank fitting got loose, tried the coke can shim but didn't work out good. 18:14/15 ratio. Currently is 21:16. Trialtech bashring. Onza tensioner. dx32 for rear. tensile clamps. Comments please (I would get the hose shortened when I'm free )
  15. Yellow ruffy cracker tilly exothermic White duffy endothermic flight I was thinking of iPads. lol.
  16. White tofu pads (tofu, pronounced as tou-fu, is some sort of bean curd, chinese food) Yellow teriyaki pads It's past midnight at my side and I'm hungry, so what comes into my mind are foods!
  17. Nice! The colour reminds me Joe Maher's inspired.
  18. IMO, no difference if up-side down or not. If you notice, the curvier side (of the chain) is on the inside, while the flatter side is on the outside. This is so that the chain could be ran on micro gear, since this is a bmx chain, a 9 tooth driver for example. Another similar chain is the shadow conspiracy. They used to be flat on both sides, but now the v2 chain is curved on one side to accommodate the small tooth gear.
  19. Wait, do Deity have 3'' risers? I only know they have 710mm in 2'', either standard or oversized, and a 800mm in 1'', oversized.
  20. Same same! Till now I still don't know how to sidehop properly.
  21. I got this from the 20'' Onza topic, and since no one mentioned it, and Steve hasn't declared the winner, here's a last one: Marmite pad for the yellow.
  22. I still think horizontal dropouts are better. But then again, everything has its own problems.
