I always say if you're having to try to stay motivated, then what's the point? If you wanted to ride enough you'd just do it....

Download a program called CPU-Z, open it and put up a screenshot of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory and Graphics tabs. (Open the program 4 times and put them next to each other, then just have to do one screenshot). I used to run HD stuff fine on my old computer, and that was from 2002... Without knowing the spec, you can't get a definate answer. Any idea on the screen size you're after? You can get monitors from 22"-28" that run at 1080p, although if you're talking true HD then they're 16:9, but personally I stick to 16:10. 1080p is still run at a 1:1 pixel ratio, but the black bars are just a bit bigger, and it's more useful for day to day stuff.

I missed it, because I was, wait for it...... Riding! I actually rode for once, and decided to miss Top Gear to do so. How long does it take to get on the iPlayer?

They're 1000 if you measure with some decent forks, 1020 with the shocking Onza forks. Not sure if they still do it, but Onza used to make all their forks around 380mm long, and just weld on different mounts for Mod or Stock... Ideally you want 360ish for mod and 400 for stock. This means that the wheelbases are longer on mods with Onza forks. I once managed to get my old Zona to measure 1075mm. It had T-Pro forks, and a knackered chain, so the rear wheel was pulled right back in the dropouts and the slaves had to be angled downwards just to reach the rim. Rear brake was terrible of course but it looked rather funny. EDIT: In regards to the different years, they're identical apart from in 2007 and onwards they stopped welding the gusset that they all crack at all the way round.

Maybe it's time to make a topic with all 80 videos in then Matt... Glad to read you're not quitting though, I always fancied riding with you lot again.

Double disc is amazing if you're light/smooth enough. When I was under 11 stone I loved it. Carpet on the ground? Good idea, perfect for damp weather riding.

Nope, he just ascended to a higher place...

Ahhh yeh, that needs finding! That Alex Ferret dude did pretty much everything he was told to.

Only 4 years mate, so you've got to forgive people for making the samek mistakes really. Interestingly, I made 2 orders to them, one was only in July last year, and both were perfect. Does anyone remember when one guy ordered like 3 things, got 2 vaguely smilar things, (in that he got some cranks or a rim), and a game of travel cluedo?

It's not the riding, which is gettng much better, sidehop technique looks really good btw, it's just the vid itself with the black and white slow-mo bits and the song is very "hardcore TGS". Just my opinion, but I got the same impression as Nick. Still a good vid and a massive improvement over the grass banks days though.

I haven't owned that yet surprisingly, nearly bought it from JonMack, then nearly bought it from Adam Griffin a while later. Who has it now? Not that I want it, just interested.

Could have just asked Matt? Click "Signed in as Katkin" then log out should be at the bottom. If it isn't you need to change the skin to Trials-Forum v3.1. There's a dropdown box just underneath the Active Users thing on the right of the home page.

You said you were close to buying a Try-All stem from tarty, but didn't because they don't have the top cap? http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=11072&category_id=29 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=10982&category_id=41 They're the only two stems I've found that are made by Try-All on Tarty, both are supplied with a top-cap.

Try-All stems come with the topcap don't they?

The tape always squidges about a bit. What kinda tape did you use? Duct tape works best. I then used foam grips with nothing sticky or anything, just scrubbed the insides with a pan scourer and hot soapy water, then cleaned the bar the same, rinsed and inflated them on.

Over here a CRX would cost a fortune to insure. I'd say at least £2k.

In an attempt to add something constructive to the Build comments, not Design. (I don't feel I'm experienced enough to comment on the design because it's not as black and white as the build): IMO accessibility and functionality go hand in hand. If any user wants to get some information out of the site you're designing, they should be able to, regardless of physical/mental disability, or device/browser/connection setup. (As mentioned earlier, it is also the law and you can be prosecuted for it, so if you're designing a site for a client, if you ask me it's up to you to make sure it's legal.) One thing I hear all the time is designers saying, "I don't code for IE6 any more, it's old and depreciated". The browser usage stats show that anywhere between 10-25% of people still use IE6, so IMO they should definately be catered for. (As should all browsers). Another thing I see all the time is websites that don't cater for the most common disability related to sight, which is colour blindness. Apparantly 1 in 10 people in the UK suffer from it, and it's so easy to cater for them, you just need to remember what colours should never go near each other. Mobile browsers are being used more and more, on phones with 3G internet connections, so they also should be catered for. How about just good old fasioned old age? My Dad has had his eyes tested in the last 6 months, and the optician said his eyes were fine, and well within the top boundary. Yet he struggles to read the Radio Times, because the print keeps getting smaller. He has the same problem with 10pt and below text on a screen, and you can be sure there are older people out there that are worse, so the lowest I go for a block of text is 14pt, sometimes I use 16pt. Again, so easy to cater for. (Also if you can teach them how to zoom into a site or use a lower res as my Grandparents now do it makes life easier still for them). Using images as navigation links, (this is where the inspired site falls down IMO, other than that I think it's fine); a partially sighted user will usually be using either a high visability browser, (which I do actually test with when browser testing), or a screen reader. This again is so easy to cater for, just put text into the site as text, apart from where it is decorational. The navigation is functional, not decorational, so if you ask me it should be left as text so that a screen ready/high vis browser can read it. What about if for some reasion, the images don't download properly? Better to stick with links as text if you ask me. As you can see, the Inspired site is perfectly fine on nearly all of my "checklist", bar one point, which can be easily fixed. Just put the image as a background of each button div, position the text in the centre, float them all left inside a container and life is good. Please remember this is all my opinion, I've only been in this game properly for about a year, so not exactly experienced. Just offering my musings.

I loved how he parked up at the owners club on his side, then they were all so nice to him! All set up though I'm guessing....

I rather enjoyed that I did.

Nah I have a 4.5" and a 5", not sure which I used. Makes no difference though really. -

Use a cutting disc and cut between the holes (on a try-all rim), so it comes out in pieces, then use a grinding disc to tidy it up. -

80-100g on a stock rear rim. Worth it IMO. Took about 20 mins with a grinder for me to do my old one! -
Robin Reliant. I'm actually considering one, because you can drive one on a bike license!

It's on tonight, at 8:00pm!
