  1. I doubt I'll use it for the iPlayer much really, I was thinking I could watch in bed, forgetting I have a netbook that can do that, but never does. And cheers Jamie, but I don't want no battered then repaired by a small child 3G iPhone, what I really want is a brand new white 3GS.
  2. Seems like a good deal that, but on 1gb internet? I'll probably use that up in a week... I once used over 100gb in a month on the house internet, but doubt I'll do that on a phone. Seems like the thing to do is wait until the 4g has been out for a few weeks, then check round all the major companies for a 3GS. (In white of course. ) EDIT: Is it possible to watch the BBC iPlayer on an iPhone? Surely there's an app for it?
  3. Carphone warehouse on O2. Who are you with matey?
  4. Just looked up the 3GS, they're dropping in price already by the looks of it. £150 + £30 a month, 300mins and unlimited texts and internet Still £450 a year for a phone though...
  5. So glad to hear this, this will mean the 3GS will come down in price I'm guessing, which will make the 3G come down too! At the moment you can get a 3G for £150 + £25 a month, 100 mins with unlimited texts and internet, which is still a bit much for a phone IMO, but we'll see.
  6. Extra weight, not as strong, not as stiff, but looks pretty fly.
  7. Sounds like the BB shell needs tapping out to clear it mate, you were right not to force it. I think Sam in the bike shop in New Mills should have a tap, if not the Bike Factory in Whaley will. Sam will remember me, doubt anyone in the Bike Factory will.
  8. Looks great mate, glad it's found a good home.
  9. They do find problems and sort them out. The missing files aren't usually found by Eusing but it finds all the unused ones that are left behind when programs are uninstalled, then removes them and low and behold, it runs faster. It can however rename them and mend broken links, which is probably why they recommend it. A clean concise registry is always going to run faster than a bloated one.

It's true, Google now owns the internet and charges you to add to it.
  11. If you laced it 3X it should be alright I'd imagine. I'd just do that personally and keep an eye on it.
  12. Aluminium can be welded without heat treating it afterwards, but it's a strange technique and I'm not familiar with the details. I know someone who got a set of forks welded like that at the disc mount and they last at least 6 months, I don't actually know if they resnapped or not. In theory if it cracked once, it'll crack again eventually unless you put less stress on that area than before.
  13. Haha, I don't but it's in IETester. I still cater for IE6 as it comes with standard with XP, so there are still a lot of people that use it. Roughly 8% of users still use IE6, so you've got to cater for them really...
  14. Opera 10.53 - Works. Google Chrome 5.0 - Works. Firefox 3.6.3 - Works. Safari 4.0.5 - Works. IE8 - Works. IE7 - Works. IE6 - Works. Rest of the page is a mess. IE5.5 - Works. Rest of the page is more of a mess. Can't believe I could be arsed to do that... I've been coding today and had them all open for testing.
  15. Or alternatively, don't listen to dickheads on the internet and just enjoy riding it... I actually wouldn't recommend upgrading anything on that bike, they're good to learn on but it costs a fortune to upgrade a bike into a properly good one. Better off selling it and buying another complete.
  16. Loving them! On the Rockman though, if I were you I'd put the front brak hose running up the inside of the fork leg, stops it being damaged if you fall off and the bike lands on the forks.
  17. I'd say OSX looks very similar still to that! :/
  18. Almost makes me want to ride again looking at pics of Matlock, but not quite.... Nice pics dude.
  19. I've heard nothing but good about them, apparantly you get like a build on the sides of toxic stuff, and it doesn't do you any good, so when you have the procedure done you tend to be more energetic and that because your body isn't having to deal with the toxins all the time. There are people who have them once a year to keep things running smooth.
  20. What OS is it? XP I'm guessing if it's on your netbook? EDIT: From reading this it looks like the first step is to run a registry cleaning program. Try Eusing Free Registry Cleaner.
  21. If you're tightening enough to round the heads of the bolts, then you're tightening wayyyyyy too much. I'm suprised your frame didn't strip first!
  22. No thanks. Revolver's joke was too funny for this thread, I'm still laughing now.
