  1. OMGOMGOMG. I'm going to go out and buy one just so I can play him.
  2. Should definately be compulsory. It would save the NHS money, and quite frankly I think you're a f**king idiot if you don't wear one. I've known people that have died or ended up in intensive care due to not wearing one. One guy was doing about 15-20mph when he came off and landed on the back of his head, died instantly. If he'd been wearing a helmet he'd have probably walked away.
  3. It'll fit the Zona fine mate, but in future bolt the tool into the BB to stop it skipping.
  4. Never managed to strip a thread out of any I have had, but yeh those bolts are utter shite.
  5. Riding along normally puts very little stress on the forks, it depends more if you gaps to front or tap a lot, or hook/slap more. In terms of braking power, it's supposedly better on the back of the fork leg.

That wasn't justifying myself at all, I said I was speaking theoretically because I don't download software! (I'd also like to add, as a student certain pieces of software definately are essential, and way over priced, but I managed to get hold of legal copies of everything either cheap or free). I didn't try to justify downloading TV, because I didn't feel the need to. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, obviously some people would disagree, but at the end of the day the law is very vague on it.
  7. Cheeerrssss, time to get playing again. Aren't you supposed to be working anyway?
  8. Museo 300 + 700? I'm very keen. Cheers for that mate! It's given me a few ideas to go and try out.
  9. I'm starting to feel the same after having a play around further. I'd probably describe it as looking very "2005". Linky. Better? No fiddling with the kerning though and it's a bit of a mess because I was naughty and screenshotted the font I liked.... I'll buy the font I end up using if needed and re-create it.
  10. Cheers for the advice mate, I have to say though at the moment i'm very keen on the font, it's pretty over the top but that's more "me". I've been looking around for others to try, and I'm quite happy to buy one if needed, but all the ones I've found so far are wanting over £100 for them, which is money I don't really have at the moment. Never read up on Kearning before, but I've done something similar on a logo I made for some stickers I never got printed, I haven't done it on this yet though but I'll certainly read up on it, I really don't like how the spacing on one side of the U is bigger than the other for example. I've already toned the blue down a fair bit, it was way too bright. I need to apply it to something I think to get a proper idea of what it will look like. I'll post up another one some time next week when I've had to work on it further, cheers!
  11. Just been working on a new logo and come up with this lot. I've got very little experience with graphic design, (is this even graphic design?), and this is an hours work or less, just after a few opinions really! I just made a few very similar ones to compare and can't decide which I like the most. I noticed that my names are both almost identical legnth, so I've tried to put that to some use. :/ Anyway, any opinions/advice greatly appreciated: Linky. EDIT: I've semi settled on this: Linky.

Errm, yeh because this is exactly like that! If I go to that restaurant and steal food, they no longer have the food. Therefore it is stealing because it's costing them money. If I were to go to the internet and download some software or a game, they're not losing out, because a lot of the stuff is so overpriced I'd just not buy it, or I'd buy it second hand instead. Talking theoretically, I actually don't have any illegal software. I only download TV now because I could record that easily enough. If you're interested to know, all my OSs are free through uni, as is most of my software, apart from Office 2007 which I bought for £35 through a student deal.
  13. You'd be amazed how much data Google holds. If you're logged into a session in any google product, (Gmail etc), they log every search you make and it's stored linked to your account, so they know every search that has ever been made from that account. They also log the IPs you've used, and use that to log your rough location... If you're not logged in, they only have your IP and location. But say if you search for some dirty illegal pictures on Google image and you're logged into Gmail, they will then know the search terms, which pictures you then used, what time, where you were when you did it, and because of your Gmail account, they know your address, name, phone numbers and all the rest. If you ask me this is a good thing, it will help to catch peadophiles and terrorists and other such villains, but it makes you wonder just how far the Big Brother thing has already taken effect. The main reason for doing this though is to track how people use Google and see how trends in what people are searching for change and that kinda thing. I'd like to have a search history personally, because I often search and find something, but can never find it again.

10 years ago no-one had broadband, no-one downloaded and yet albums were still £14+. I know this because I was there! Albums are now cheap anyway, the average price is something like £8, twas on the news the other day. DVDs seem to be roughly the same price as 10 years ago, but then again inflation has gone up a lot. If there was a website where they sold albums for £2 and films for £3 and you downloaded them, everyone would buy legally. EDIT: What about games and computer software? New games are at least £40, software is often £500 for some packages. So, so worth the risk, which is why everyone downloads illegally.
  15. Errm, never heard of trialsdisplay.co.uk?
  16. Impressed! I really should do something similar. My CV looks terrible and I've only ever used it for Uni and college assignments.

    I'm Back!

I also lol'd at that. Looks good Ben! Was it an ebay job?
  18. The forum has just had a massive crash and had to be reset, so things are a bit of a mess at the moment. It definately is a rule and has been since before I joined.

If you have a dynamic IP, just reboot the router and get a new one. You can also route through a proxy server if you can be arsed. Hackers don't just use an IP blocking service either, they often use a chain of computers around the world to stop them being tracked as easily.
  20. Sometimes they just die, mine did recently, although it was only a minor kernel error, so it just BSOD'd whenever it felt like it.

    Super Bargain!

    well tempted...
  22. Found it, my 88 TY250R. For how I ride and how often I ride, nothing else ticks all the boxes. (That I've ridden).
  23. Seeing Tom Booth's arse when he fell off.
  24. Well I've never actually ridden a 125, just that 2004 GasGas 200 Pro, which was preatty useless... I rode a 2008 Beta 250 aswell once, and thought that was pretty bland. Obviously far more powerful than my bike, but I expected more. The only bike that I was impressed by was another mate's TRW Montesa 4RT.
