  1. They're still going, but don't use the website as it'd never updated, phone up.
  2. Sounds like when I had fecked pistons. They corrode underneath the seals and then it sticks a bit sometimes, or others it eats the seals then the piss oil everywhere. New seal kit and polish up the pistons should solve it. Just hold the inside bit with the magnet in the chuck of a hand drill, put a rag on the edge of a table or workbench with some Autosol on it and whizz it round until they're nice and shiny, clean then thoroughly, lube them with brake fluid, rebuild the brake with new seals and rebleed it, should sort it out.
  3. I think the weight will have to increase, my old carbons were Pace XC racing forks that had been shortened and were 677g, these will be expected to take far greater forces and would have to be stiffer.
  4. No, because I never said anything like that. I was commenting on the quality not the price. I'd happily pay over £250 for a custom geo reynolds tubed frame. My point was the quality is utter shite, the price is just reflective of that.
  5. I suppose it's just how you ride it, Bessell is fairly smooth as trials riders go but he's still fairly basherish at times. He had it for a good few months aswell, so it'll probably last a good while if you look after it Nick.
  6. I don't know, the guy couldn't actually tell me what grade it was apart from it wasn't renolds or even cromoly...
  7. It's gonna be inferior because marinos are shit. I looked into it and they don't even use Renolds tubing, it's just some really low grade cheap shit. This means they're like 2.5kg and fairly weak, Damon Watson folded his 24" in half in a few days.
  8. If you fancy an old Koxx Cheat Code, 2003 styleeee, I'm selling a full build, just need to get pics. It's a proper usable seat frame aswell.
  9. Bessell had one Nick, think he had it for a good few months and don't think he cracked or snapped it. I've heard of a few others going I think, they are pretty much comp frames though...
  10. I use FF on both my desktop and my netbook, and I can tell that it renders slower on the netbook. Identical plugin/addon setup on both because I develop on both. I would try Opera on the netbook to speed things up a bit, but I sync all my bookmarks between all three of my computers using the Xmarks plugin, and I couldn't sync them in Opera.
  11. The only benefit is better weight distribution, and that in theory a freewheel can give stronger engagements, because there is room inside for more pawls. In a pro2 rear hub for example, there is only enough room for 4 pawls, whereas in a freewheel you can fit 6 or even 9 pawls.
  12. Niceeee, riding full time doing it's job then.
  13. I've got about 3 pics that could fill that gap, but every time they've been posted the poster has been warned. PM if you require proof. I spy with my little eye, A GOREYY NASTY SHIN DIG!
  14. I think ben's referring to a vid some canadian took and when the backing snapped, everyone went round saying rockpads were shit, even though they use powerpad backings, which pretty much all pads do... But aye, plastic backings are shit anyway, bin them and get some metal ones.
  15. Earliest Mono Trial came out in 2005 I think, that had a braided hose with no plastic outer sheath thing, then in 06 they added the plastic sheath, 07 was the new lever and colour scheme we have now. Is it not a Kevlar hose? People use them because they're lighter.
  16. Out of interest how did you actually build it? I'm guessing some rather complex javascript with several layers, one of which can change colour?
  17. Nice concept, needs a new version though IMO, instead of a picture I'd use line drawings and different components on there so people can choose the spec. It's an awful lot of work though! It's the sorta project I'd like to get in on, but just not enough time atm. Making it 3D would be nice aswell. Good work though! Very good start.
  18. I used to say you never need more than 180mm on the front of a stock, until I had to get a 200. (Changed my forks to TrialTechs that have a +20mm mount). Now I say, you NEED 200mm.
  19. My first name is Samuel, I was never Sam at school because there was always more than one Sam in our class, so everyone called me Samuel, then at secondary school everyone started calling me Muel. There are actually people in my year at school who didn't know my first name wasn't Muel when I signed up to facebook last year.
  20. It's a common problem with mods, you cna either add an extra link to the chain and drag the wheel back, then file the holes for the pads out to mount them lower, or get some of the new Heatsink adapters which allow you to mount the vee pivot directly over the lower 4 bolt mount hole.
  21. If it's a Mono brake, the best method I've found is to remove as much of the fluid as you can, removed the bore cap, then push the outside piston out from behind, then you can reach through the caliper with some pliers and get hold of the centre of the inner piston, and gently pull it out.
  22. If you want to sit down, take one foot off, so the cranks are vertical, then sit on the free pedal.
  23. It's not 3.117ft, it's 3,117ft, but being Chinnergay he can't just let it go, he has to make a joke about the one key away typo.

It's a f**king life saver is this program, I only wish I had more space. I see why you're posting it hear though mate, every person who signs up from that link gives you an extra 250mb. I'm considering going up to the 50gb option.
