  1. Sucksmuff. Happy birthday hanski!

    Sorted Now

You bought it on Saturday, it's Wednesday night? Give him a chance!
  3. Matching maggy clamps? For shame.... It does look amazing though, like a childs toy, but better.
  4. Is this actually true? I already removed pete on facebook because of this thread, thought he might have given up posting this shite, apparantly not...
  5. All that time, effort, money, blood, sweat and tears on a 125... These new rules suck. I want a big load of money now so I can do all the work to my bike I have planned! Not much of it will be left stock.
  6. Unfortunately not, you just have to keep deleting the accounts. Most connections these days use roaming IPs, so to get a fresh one you just restart the router. Pete, seriously give it up, at least your spammings of yore were mildly entertaining, this just has nothing funny in it at all...
  7. How are you going to make money at it when you don't know how it works?
  8. Post-It notes, they make millions and cost nothing to set the business up initially.
  9. Haha, horrid venue in the rain. Did you ever do the jump over the road? I nearly made it once, had to go flat out across the edge of the lake, landed with my front wheel just on the downslope, rear was somewhere on the road, couldn't manage anything close again. Yeh it is a trek from you, it's a great place to ride but to be honest it's not as good as Bracken I reckon. (From looking at what there is there). We tend to go there most because it's local and I know the family that live there really well.
  10. I've ridden pedally trials at dudwood and bracken, never been there with the motorbike though. I havn't ridden a comp in 2 years, I used to ride with MaccTC and Man17, which Man17 events did you do? I've ridden pretty much all of the venues they use, I even once won the hard route in the youth A catagory once at one of their dead easy's. That was at victory quarry if you've heard of it? In fact, that day I won hard route youth A, and my brother won easy route youth D. I once got in the TMX once aswell, because my mate wrote a piece on a trial I rode and worked it in, it was a club championship and I came third out of the three youth riders on the easy route. Still, got a cutting out of it. If you're ever riding Hawks Nest give me a shout, we could try and meet up if you want.
  11. I dream of 5th gear power wheelies. Side cars are just too gay I'm afraid.... I'm thinking it's going to want another set of wheels with road tyres on aswell, and a higher gear ratio, then two chains seeing as I use a split link anyway. Tis gonna be a whole lot of fun. Really need to get out again soon...
  12. Yeh I know, it ruins it haha. I nearly won a Go from ebay but missed it. One day I'll get one for it, but seeing as I havn't ridden since August, I can't really be arsed. I'll get one for the 350 converstion, it'll have a flatslide, shortened inlet, raised compression ratio, hopefully bored out bigger, (hoping a 350 twinshock piston will fit), opening out the exaust port, polishing the transfer ports etc. That with a Wes go should give a nice change.
  13. Nice bike that, where's that place? Is it open for riding? Might have to have a look in one day if I can. You ever ridden Hawks Nest or anywhere around Buxton/Macclesfield? Your's was a red framed one, they're not as good as the white framed ones.
  14. Any excuse to bust out my 80s monster. 1988 Yamaha TY250R in case you wondered, one day it'll recieve a heavily modded 350 engine, when I find one for the right money. (Going to have to get it imported from Japan or America).
  15. Come to shu, sit on my penis.
  16. I'd look into what substances you can use to strip carbon fibre, but if you're going down that path it may take the stickers/decals off aswell. If they're only shallow scratches, you can polish laquer up with petrol, but with it being carbon I don't know if it can weaken it if you go working petrol into the scratch...
  17. Tis worth nothing, my brother has one, in all honesty it's a rubbish frame, the 4 bolt mounts are a good half inch away from where they should be, so I've had to make a chain tensioner for it. In amazing condition I reckon about £40, with no cracks or dents and very few scratches. In the condition that one's in, I doubt it will sell at all.
  18. This topic is about running a profile hub dry. The damage to those 3 shells was clearly not caused by running the hub dry, so why post it?
  19. Trialtech rims are the same as Try-All I believe. I actually have a 36h Try-All rim here spare! Considoring the setup you have now I'd say yeh, stick with the Pro 2, Get a Try-All rim for it and you're sorted! 18:15 should be fine, most people seem to prefer this ratio, I actually prefer it heavier than that but I've always been wierd like that.
  20. Actually Tarty had a proto set of screw on Burns a while ago, I dunno what happened to them though. But anyway, I'd just say get a Pro2 and run them with that, best setup ever!
  21. I'm gonna be incredibly knobish and just say, the bike I have now. This one. Actually I'd have that exact spec, but with a different frame, probably a Triton with custom geo.

    Big Feet :)

crooked tongues often have big sizes.
  23. New freewheels are often packed with grease, best bet is to clean it all out and run it dry.

    Hope Lever

It can be done actually, you just need to bleed it so that there is no air at all below the diaphram. 1handedluke used to run it if i remember right, I think I saw pics of his bikes on here a while ago.
