Split links are dangerous, they're the weak link of the chain. Aye Z610 though, I've only snapped one and it's fecked, it was on the Kot for around 8 months and the Simtra for 6, just replaced the link and just got round to ordering a new one, the old one is fecked.

Nice design, you should look into accessibility more though, as your home page cannot be accessed by a visually impaired user. You need to make it so that when a text reader browser views that page and the user selects the link by pressing the Tab button, the text reader can read the link out. I think you could just add an Alt tag into the hyperlink in this case but I'm not certain. Other than that I like it a lot, it's simple, easy to navigate and looks great on a netbook sized screen. (1024 anyway, I don't have an 800 wide screen to view it on).

Nothing will stop thorns I've found, over the years I've tried layering extra old tubes over the new one, I even bought some 2mm thick thorn proof tubes once for my BMX, still got punctures.

I always cut the diagonal ones. Best thing you can do with that tyre though is to swap if for an Eagle Claw and cut that.

What cranks have you got now? I've never heard of aluminium cranks bending, they tend to just crack and snap. Are you sure it's not the BB that's bent?

I got my kit for £20 posted from ebay, I've already done several mounts with it. £35 for 4 helicoils is rediculous.

I've always found this with flat bars, I could never make them feel right. I'd change the bar for a Trialtech riser and then probably the stem aswell.
