  1. Or just get a proepr 50cc bike? My Mate had an Aprillia RX50 that went like stink with the DEP exaust system he had on it, I only rode it once mind but it took me by surprise.
  2. 26" - TRA 24" - Danny Mac 20" - Benito Ross TRA and Benito go bigger than most TGS riders, but they can do it on any obstacle!

I love mine, BB is a bit too low though, would be much better if it was +30-35mm. Other than that I can't fault mine, doubt I'll be changing for a good while yet, I've had it since July already and it still feels "fresh" to ride. Things have changed since I had my Echo Lites, I had 3 at one point.
  4. 03 Echo Lite and Levelboss! They look more like the bikes of today than the bikes of a year before.
  5. Use a knife, scalpels are best. I find it definately increases grip, especially on the edge of things.
  6. Aye I'd say get some TI bars on there, then if you need a new stem to tune it them do it!
  7. I use a scalpel to remove mine, if you use something to lube the blade with it lasts a lot longer before it goes blunt. I sharpen the blade aswell, otherwise you'll go through about 10 per tyre.
  8. How come Hannah Shucksmith is a pre-member now then?
  9. Does the brake work properly? I've found they make massive amounts of noise when the caliper seals have and there is oil on everything. But if it's just a kind of ringing, most of mine have done it, it's just down to whether the mount is face, how true the rotor is and how carefully the caliper has been shimmed out, my front one barely rubs at all, even with my home made +20 adapter on it.
  10. It'll be sorted when/if I get a second 28".
  11. Ahh yes the Lynx died, bad luck. Should be under warrenty I would have thought, if it is, I definately would recommend one of these 28"s, they're sooo good for the money.
  12. Here's what you want mate.
  13. What monitor are you running there Sav? And only the one? Poor show....
  14. Only just fit in my Kot and rubbed a lot, wouldn't even let the hub bolts go into the dropouts in the simtra. They really are huge things.

  16. Good choice, IIRC they have a Yamaha TYZ engine? They're not as strong as the air cooled mono engines but still very strong by modern standards, I looked into getting a TYZ once but decided to stick with mine.
  17. Maybe, there's still something distinctly gay about a grown man on a 125 though....
  18. Good stuff Matt, my mate has a Fantic 200 twinshock. Second worse bike I've ever ridden after my old TY175, the Fantic isn't a 200, it's actually a 156cc, so it's useless. We had a 1p bet on a trial though and he beat me on it by about 20 marks. (I can't deal with slippy stuff for shit).
  19. It took me about 2 weeks to strip it, do the jobs it needed and rebuild it, they're incredibly easy bikes to work with, didn't really need rebuilding but I did anyway because I wanted to check the frame for any more cracks, it has a couple of nice big ones but I'm just keeping an eye on them, they havn't grown yet no matter how much I jump it and stuff. One day I'll get them welded and get it all powdercoated and looking nice.
  20. Nah mines matching numbers so I doubt it, it's an original UK one though, thinking about it yours might have been a Jap import? Think they kept the red frames for 88. Here's mine when it looked nice after the first rebuild, tis a lot tattier now. The forks should be white, some knob has sanded the paintwork off them. Rather badly aswell although I spent a while tidying it it. My bedroom during the second rebuild :
  21. Did they make the 88 with a red frame? Mine's an 88 but it's white framed. I am definately keeping the bike forever. They're only sluggish because of the massive crank and flywheel weights and the port timings, once they're seen too it's alllll good.
  22. Depends what you have to spend, £600 or less I would get a TY250R, over that I'd look into more modern bikes.
  23. Ahhhh, your's will have been an 84-87? The red framed ones? Still can't source a 350 engine for mine. Haven't tried very hard though. I got one quote for £600 for the engine if they could find and import a 350 from Japan and split it. Hmmmm...... I'd pay £300 for one maybe, they sell 250 engines there for £200.
