    Gutted

Most places I know of are shut from 24th-3th, should count ourselves lucky they can be arsed to go in at all between those times!
  2. I'm guessing Mark's got himself an Echo 24".
  3. Some interesting ideas coming out here, good to see I'm not the only one who dissasembles it all first. How long until the Tarty crew release an intructional video with all the different methods documented?
  4. This struck me as a possible topic for discussion. Discuss!
  5. The are paid to make it look like that though, that's the point of Top Gear. Is it random or scripted? Nobody knows....
  6. It's not a trials bike, and putting rigid forks on won't make it into one I'm afraid! You can do trialsy moves on anything, but they'll never be as good on anything other than a trials bike.
  7. Everyone has seen it, it's been posted several times over the last few years.

    Commute To Work

Polls a bit too blanket if you ask me, the time and occupation should be split up! I travel 1.5 hours either way to uni each day, currently unemployed. (Well self employed in theory, but haven't made any money. )
  9. That was undoubtedly set up aswell, there's no way he actually did that. Was pretty fun that! Didn't think it was as good as the vietnam one though.
  10. Look up his Leeson Thumper vid, just about my favourite vid ever.
  11. I have 2 bikes, one bike on the way and a motorised one aswell, I ride maybe an hour a month at the moment. I'd say I don't ride personally.
  12. Yes, trials uses the back muscles a lot, especially the lower ones I find, it'll take a while for them to build up. Just take breaks when you're riding and if you feel it starting to hurt, stop for a while.
  13. I had them, wore out faster than my TrialTechs, thinner and not as comfy! I've had several pairs of TrialTechs now, I'll never look back. People sometimes have trouble getting them to stick to the bar. They have some kind of waxy layer inside them, take a pan scourer with washing up liquid and roll it up and use that to scrub the insides of the grips, then clean the bar with something, then inflate them to get them on. (There's intructions in the wiki I think).
  14. World peace and harmony. Not asked for anything, I'd rather be surprised with stuff, tis the point if you ask me.
  15. Feels good to be honest, I've massively overspent on what we normally spend on each other, but a few people are going to be well happy. I've managed to think of things that people will actually want this year, not just the usual random shit they'll never use.
  16. All I know is it's one day until I have to give out more than I get back.
  17. Mine cost about £15 posted I think. Don't bother tapping the frame to m6, it makes life a pain in the arse if you want to run a booster, or sell it again.
  18. This bonding is rather entertaining.

You have to turn right into the drive then hit it straight away, on my trials bike I'd be attemping to get it sideways all the way up, but on my road bike it's not worth trying.

Soo tempted to go out on my bik and show these fassys how it's done. no way I'll get up my grandparents drive though, it's about 30D at the bottom.
  21. That's what I wanted the wheels on my first DD Echo to look like. (The one you saw Adam with the adapter, ooohhh so many years ago!) Black rims with DD and black tyres.... OOF! The only thing I'd change on that would be I'd have white spokes, no-one has them and I think it would make the stickers on the frame stand out.
  22. Living at home. What a f**king idiot. I get that every night, it would almost be worth the insane cost to have gone in halls. (All my loans, grants, burseries etc wouldn't have covered it though). Getting a house with my mate next year hopefully, gotta get out some how.
  23. Pffft, Web Developer.... (Freelance and student. ) It's not too bad when you're coding, because you never type none stop, you're thinking a lot and pausing.
