Is this the John I'm thinking of? Big daft John?

You sure it's one issue? Is the wheel actually leaning over at an angle in the forks, or is it just dished over to the side? If the wheel is leaning over in the forks, you could file the offending dropout to get the wheel straight, but bear in mine that it could spazz the disc alignment up further, be extra careful lol. If the wheel is just dished over to the side, (far more likely), then the disc issue may not be linked. In this case, I'd recommend getting the disc mounts faced and shimming the brake up properly (buy proper shims, not just washers). I'd ignore the wheel being dished a bit, doesn't really matter with a disc wheel (within reason).

Noice, noice. Looked so much better with a bit of colour on it though dude, now it just looks like every post-2004 TGS fence post.

Lawl, you couldn't carry all the stuff I had. I gave you a load of it, and gave the rest away with my Koxx, now I'm guessing there was even more left in the shed. I spent more time buying, selling and polishing than riding. Is it a long or short WB version fathead?

I find it literally amazing what you bloody yanks can get for next to no money. $779 for that is insanely good, in the UK it'd be at least £750-800. If I were you, I'd keep the current laptop and get a desktop as well though. Desktop powaaarrrrrrrr.

I edited to add more infos, I get you better now though. Will look properly later, I'm bored now.

Yeh, but good luck earning that much money. Most of us in here will earn roughly average wage for the rest of our lives, and we'll never own a Ferrari.

^^ Roughly that spec, but it's not that simple, and for proper gaming I'd recommend an i7 (ivy bridge, not sandy bridge, the mobile chips are a big improvement IMO), 8gb RAM at least, and an ATI HD7970M GPU (IMO the best price/performance mobile GPU atm). For "dabbly" gaming (I guess you only play a bit here and there from what you said?) an i5-3210m 2.5ghz (3.1ghz turbo), 4gb+ RAM (preferably more), and the on-board graphics may well be enough, as the HD4000 on-chip GPU that comes with the Ivy Bridge processors is a big improvement over any other so far. (Except maybe the AMD Trinity ones, but I don't like AMD any more, so haven't been following progress). Buying laptops isn't as simple as everyone makes out, you have to pay for 2 things, spec and build quality. Avoid brands like Acer IMO, as the build quality is shocking on the ones I've worked on. My girlfriend spent £500 on one less than 3 years ago, and it overheats constantly, it's dog slow, the battery is awful, the keyboard is awful, the charger broke, the colour reproduction of the screen panel is shit, and it's a b*****d to strip down to work on (trying to solve the overheating issue, which is due to poor cooling design, which means I'm going to have to modify it). Stick to decent brands like Samsung, Sony, HP etc IMO. They're more expensive for the same spec for a reason. I just bought a new Samsung Series 5 laptop, and it's fantastic in terms of build quality, but I got the "work" version without a dedicated GPU so the battery lasted longer. (5.5 hours for a 15.6" laptop, silly good). It has the i5-3210m, and the on-board GPU is surprisingly good. It plays Minecraft fairly well, and can easily (very easily) handle HD content. I can test it out with Portal 2 tonight for you if it would help? Any other games you'll regularly play? What is your budget?

We used to have an old heater thingy with a big gas bottle in it, worked really well but made the place smell. (Always the problem with these things). Just put more clothes on.

I'd much rather win it and spend it on toys rather than earn it. Earning things is hard! I have a plan anyway, if I ever come into a large sum of money, I intend to set up a web design company that develops decent sites for worthy causes. That and buy a massive house, a garage full of toys and a guy for everything. (Lawyer guy, butler guy, arse-wipe guy etc).

Please Bring Back The Old Validation System!

Plus the rate at which people are getting scammed seems to have gone through the roof since this came about. I wouldn't by anything on here now from anyone I didn't already know. I was 100% against it ever being removed at the time, and can honestly see no advantage to removing it. Anyway, that's my yearly rant about it done. It'll make no difference but never mind. -
Monty Python is pretty fun, this is somewhere between shit and wank.

I didn't smile once, never really found ruining people's days funny though.

Work fine for me. If it's a problem you're having on different computers, then it could be something to do with your internet connection. When you say they don't work, do they never start or do they just not stream fast enough?
-
Possibly. I've missed out the decimal before, ended up bidding £1000 on something instead of £10.00.

Done? Really? Come on now...

I sold 3 bikes with a better spec a couple of years ago, and made a total profit of well under what this has sold for. He's not going to get it anyway, it'll be a mistake.

The O2 next to the bus station is the academy, not the arena, which is it? I might come for a natter, catch up with some old faces.
-
Lololol, Luke, you're a douche. Of course she should be able to play unsupervised in her own garden without being kidnapped, she's 5, not a baby. I used to go out riding my bikes when I was 7, and I had just about as much chance of defending myself against nasty blokes as when I was 5. Age is irrelevant, fact is that wierd bastards who like kiddies can overpower any child, whether they're 5 or 15. It's unfortunate, but it's so rare that it's not worth everyone living their lives in fear to avoid it.

Now, he is a very silly man. Very silly indeed.

Could just upload them to Photobucket like everyone else can see them?
-
Pretty sure that's cheating...

Smarmy f**ker... I'm fairly happy, wouldn't change much beyond more money and living in a house with a garage, instead of a flat.
