Meh, I don't get this whole anti-electricity usage movement to be honest. I have a stupidly thirsty desktop (considering how slow it is) 3 big monitors, a server and a load of network shite, and I pay £60 a month combined gas and electric... I honestly don't think it's up to even playing video. Most netbooks struggle with HD content, and the PI has about a tenth of the hardware. I do still want one though...

Surely they're not powerful enough to use as a desktop pc? My netbook barely manages that, and that has about 10 times the resources of a Raspberry PI.

Can you get medical insurance in the UK for private care or some shit? I have several things that I think may need treating in 20-30 years time or more. (All joint related, I have arthritis and it's slowly getting worse. So far having minor pain in my left hip, both shoulders, all my fingers, ankles, toes and knees). Don't much like the idea of going to the NHS with cries of "My joints are slightly hurty". They'll laugh me out the door, if I was paying then I'd get seen to though!

I have a home server running here, just not sure the spec is up to supporting any more than about 5 users, and my internet connection definitely can't. (7.5mbps up, 1mbps down, lol). If I sort myself a new internet connection out I'll get some shit sorted out on the network and make it happen.

Hello all I am registered to vote, and I do. I believe it's rather important. Wife disagrees, wife doesn't understand politics on account of her tiny tiny woman brain, and believes if she were to vote, it would be a bad thing, because she is silly, and silly people simply shouldn't vote or there would be chaos. So does she need to register and refuse to vote, or do we just not register her at all? My gut feeling is that she needs to register but refuse to vote, so that the results show the correct percentage of people who are just too silly to be allowed to vote. So, which?
