  14. The first round was at Belhus country park. It has rather limited terrain compared with some of the bigger more popular venues, but the team who set up on thne saturday done a cracking job at using what we did have (big thanks to those of you that helped and of course the clerk ). As usual it was a muddy but managable with a bit of concerntration. Sections 1 and 2 were an accident waiting to happen, we had to cross a swamp with wobbley logs and branches all we had to do it lol. Thanks to everybody involved, i think most people had a good laugh. Great to see EBTC founder and legend Brian Matthews back at a club round for the first time in a couple of years, we need you brian! Wanted to know how everybody found sunday Fun/Not fun Hard/Easy cheers tom xxxxxxxx
  15. Jumping Jack for the win! remember it well benjamin, glad we inspired a budding trials rider
  16. i was 11 and saw Barry Deeks (badboy) over my local park hopping single step at a time up a set of stairs, i couldnt beleive what he was doing and decided it wa the way forward! bought MBUK saw Jez Avery, Oliver Grossman and Martyn Ashton doing a bunnyhop comp and studied those pictures for weeks! It was seeing the martins on Getta Grip (free video with MBUK) that made me realise i needed THOSE yellow brakes for trials use.lol never looked back and have read/watched everything trials related since, learning more and more untill now where i can sent my girlfriend to sleep with a single trials story lol Love it! good topic dude
  17. Tapping was one of the hardest things to learn for me, dont expect it to come instantly. personally i started on a wall with a angled edge on the top brick, this was a great place to aim the front wheel. i have explained this as i do it other peoples technique may vary, this is explained from a right footed point of view. reverse for all those lefties out their. ride at a fast walking pace toward the wall, load a half pedal stroke position (left foot at the very top of a stroke for a right footer, opposite for left obviously) let yourself get a little closer than normal to ensure the front wheel makes a good contact with the corner brick. Push through with the left to bring the front wheel up leading the power of the right foot to be in position right at the point of impact. as the front hits the wall you need to have your weight moving upwards and towards the front of the bike, on the way up bring the bike forwards between your legs locking on the rear brake. If you get the tap correct it will almost feel effortless compared with just pedalling up, remember dont lean backwards when the front wheel hits because it makes getting your body weight ontop of the object very tough. watch plenty of videos of the masters doing it and practice practice practice. hope it helps xxx
  18. stop posting to boost your post count u devious swine! loved the vid!
  19. Absolutely gagging for the brittish champs its always a great atmosphere First year in Elite with the big boys, wish me luck lol
  20. the point of this topic wasnt to try and argue your point as to who is the better rider, its just who "YOU" prefer to watch! Damon makes my jaw drop Danny makes me want to ride this is of course my opinion, i would download either of their vids. dont stop making them guys
  21. dont "accidently" come on your gf face when you were really "aiming" for her breasts, then proceed to piss yourself with laughter uncontrolably! doesnt go down well
