  1. ah, the reason I asked is it looks identical to the one on my bike. I made a couple and handed them out to a few mates. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=atomz++premier
  2. hey, where did you get that tensioner from?
  3. Brake cleaner from any motor factors is the best bar none, only costs a couple of quid and comes in an aerosol can.
  4. I had the exact same problem, I tried new plastic washers but it didn't help I filed the a bit off the inside faces where the two halves of the 4-bolt mounts touch. You can then do them up tighter and they don't slip.
  5. I think the reds are a little softer than the yellows and the new clear ones are even softer than the reds. I've got the clear pads but dont like them. The brakes either on or off with these, too bitey for me. I prefer a brake you can modulate a bit. I vote yellows or browns.
  6. get croco brown or yellows on a light grind, nice and quiet
  7. Thanks, I was thinking the same. I've got some white magura cylinders but I've had the racelines since 1998! sentimental value. haha.
  8. Thought I'd post some pics of my atomz so, here they are... Spec... 9. I was looking at my Atomz the other day and was thinking, why don't you get the option of choosing between horizontal and vertical dropouts? The frame has Bolt-in vertical dropouts anyway so surely Atomz could supply or sell seperately replacement horizontal dropouts, making the frame more appealing to more people. Surprised it's not been done before on other frames. Make sense to anyone else?
  10. Ah... got it. Thanks for that, I'll get one ordered jim
  11. Thanks. But, that says it's for forks with a post mount.
  12. I currently have a 185mm bb7 on a pair of echo urban forks which are cracked. I'm thinking of getting trialtechs but that would mean I'd need a 203 rotor. I'd rather keep the 185 so I'll need a different adaptor for my caliper. Anyone know where I can get one from? Tried crc but they only have the 185 and 203's
  13. You could loose 2kg off that fat arse of yours!
  14. I have a black one for sale. as new condition not a scratch on it. make me an offer if your interested. jim
  15. What was the original geo? I've had two of these but had no idea about geometry back then. Also what was the geo of the 04 pure that everyone raves on about?
  16. I bought a set of raceline maggies in 1998 and the rears been on there ever since! Never leaked either. My middleburns are from 2002. they've been ridden loose plenty of times but still don't creak. They're square taper too.
  17. What pressure do you run daz? I usually run less than 20psi. I have a dual ply Minion with a freeride tube (bit lighter than a downhill tube). I've only had 1 or 2 flats and I'm probably heavier than you too. jim
  18. Whats the difference between the yellow and the brown croco's?

    Bb Heights

It's the distance the bottom bracket is above the axles and its measured in mm
  20. Mine leaks very slowly from the bleed screw. If you dont have it mega tight you can see the fluid weep out when the brake is held under pressure for a while.
  21. What size are you? I have a pair of size 9 Ribos that I've worn once (they are too small for me). Still look brand new. And I could do with selling them so I can buy a bigger size. Let me know if your interested jim
  22. Great ride today Adam. The sun makes all the difference! Liking the pics too.
  23. What do you do with the weights?
  24. Paper rounds and milk rounds? I was doing them from 12 years old and by the time I was 14 I'd built up a bike that cost me over £2000. I'm sure the wages are alot better now than they were in 1996 when I started them. Bike bits are cheaper now too. Frames are half price compared to back then! Much better when you pay for it out of your own hard earned cash.
