  1. going around corners is the most difficult bit...since you cannot coast around with the crank high so pedals hit ground when banking..
  2. not really a good choice of bike to just get around on really just because it has a seat bmx? 24?
  3. cant edit post..all got condesnsed for some reason. the bike skills they need are incredible, especially in time trials and group sprints. riding with milimeters seperating the front and rear wheels;draughting and having riders to the side. time trials are done at a 35 mph average.. so makes hanging onto that tractor or bus for a mile seem insignificant. as for leg shaving denoting homosexuality...thats just pure bollox..excuse pun.aerodynamic increases are irrelevant...note that riders do not shave arms. eases masage therapy helps in crash's adds to rider motivation .. feeling faster. there are more but cannot remember them all. vive la tour also forgot to mention the amazing attention to detail that roadies apply to the sport in terms of the bike and fitness. makes trials seem primitave. have you seen the amount of monitoring equipment used?heart ratespeedcadencepowerto name a few.anyone else think power monitors such as the SRM would benefit trials?

  5. say about how u assess the objects and spurs creativity. may also wish to mention maintenance
  6. you will know when you are through the laquer bulk. small holes may also be filled too. using wet and dry on nude carbon is strange as the surface seems to be slippery, similarly to when hacksawing steerer tubes and the like. because of the chemisty and all that crap. its easy to know when you are through the laquer though..just try it. and dont breathe in the dust, comman sense again.
  7. penis. its a saddle. it probabably is made of the fibre configurations shown...and not to FEA compliance. wet and dry. even if it does splinter i.e. if dropped on edges...its a saddle and can be easly smoothed down and re-laqured. i did it with my old supermoto frame guards and sump plate that had been impacted..and they turned out fine.
  8. speaking of nuns..jethro! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HtccG--7muw&...ted&search=
  9. at my local they have invested in building an outhouse/ open conservatory onto the side of the building for smokers to use. must be worth the business.
  10. shouldnt be a total ban. thats just daft. i think if some places were none smoking and other were smoking...business wouldnt be lost as the customers would just go to either or ? wouldnt work so well for small pubs though but night clubs, restraunts etc.
  11. another vote for the w880i, black fantastic! replaced my ipod and old phone with this. contract also.
  12. he seems pretty good to me however in the same way, i guess you are a 'guy with a camera' rather than a photographer :$
  13. i think you will find the initial import is cheap enough, suppliers take a big cut and so do retailers. maybe someone is trying to make up for saying stuff?
  14. wrong place i suspect lol just watch out for fakes. no pun
  15. it is clear that some people want him un banned. and clear that some people dont. people have divided opinions, its a forum after all so why not discuss? i guess you were not around to see the funny side of his antics.
  16. surely OBM wouuld unban him...
  17. vote here http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....100553&st=0
  18. i certianly enjoy reading his stories and have spoke directly over email before to be confront with pure BS. anyway...
  19. as for the shop thing, i think its been could have been difficult for tartybikes to start up. but then again the service they are renound for is highly regarded which has rated them the best trials shop around. however, with the state of shops before... there was much to be desired.
  20. not all that spectacular it seems.....otherwise this film would have been stopped, surely?
  21. what i was trying to get at was if he cannot intepret words correctly to convey what he is saying; then on what grounds can he even begin to slate this program that is more than likely formed by many P.h.d staff? it makes sense. especiall the religion section... it is much easier to relate to numbers as proof as oppsed to an idea or speculation of 'god'.
  22. are you trying to convince people you know more, with grammar like that?
