  1. its the droput that is supporting the hub anyway so for plain vertical moves qr is fine but for sideways moves the bolts provide that extra security.
  2. so whats next for deng? presumably he did something before trials parts.. will he just move onto something new next or develop more parts, maybe bmx?
  3. no..they dont make any helemts at all. they just paint them.
  4. they come with those bolts. cant see why anyone would run QR instead
  5. well you cant really expect a coned hub to sustain trials abuse. you can get hopes cheap now about 30-40 quid if you look about.
  6. they keepp you waiting long enough so it seems good. also annoys me how everything is wrapped up. oh yeh and the aisle next to you get theirs first..
  7. college blocked ebay but the teachers complained so now its back lol other things that are blocked.. ebuddy, myspace, bebo etc
  8. i think most of the people that said they are crap will have them within a year. its expensive stuff making brakes though and even though there is a mark up.. not a huge amount. especially on hope brakes if you check the trade price. just think how much i.e. a heatsink cnc full brake would be..... king loads.
  9. thinking about it.. for the extra 50 quid or whatever you would spend on some.. you could easily afford a set of nice gloves, bobble hat and scarf. oh, and a cup of hot coffee everytime you are out in the cold. focus on designing something needed...
  10. 11 on a monty xlite back in 2000.. guessing the bike was circa 98. stopped for a while at 15 though
  11. gloves. its pretty easy to get warmed up riding anyway
  12. no one actually knows the exact piston sizes. im sure the cnc lever will be stiffer than the cast magura ones= more power to brake.
  13. i didnt mean the internals i.e. the ratchet.. i meant the internal profiling of the hubshell itself.. to produce different wall thicknesses etc
  14. thats a 10% increase in strangth on the outside of the shell. who knows what the internals of the hub look like now
  15. but you must be aware that the jeans ever so slightly enhance the appearance of homosexuality? its the same people that dress oddly though i think..they were the ones wearing curtains as mentally baggy trousers and 40inch raised leather boots with more buckles than a kids bmx. Seriously, the tight jeans look so daft its untrue. Maybe you will realise when the next fad comes. Or when you grow up
  16. i think the steryotype argument is silly because some of these people, especially emo's will delibrately dress that way to be classed as one. the seem to have very good arguments about their dress sense too and god forbid dont call them goth. why on earth they do it is pretty odd. skinny jeans. and hair so you cant see. WTF? admittedly though some of the girls do look hot. but on guys.. i actually do laugh at them sometimes.
  17. stiffer, obviously. i believe the only forks out are steel suspension corrected dirt jump heavy stuff. i have always wanted to seem a 150mm rear 12mm bolt through frame.
  18. o dear.. who saw.. and how can i make it look intenionsal lol
  19. thats all hope did with the mono mini trial
  20. as in using a question mark? anyway, onza bit of a jump in at the deep end though. try a pashley, cheap as chips on ebay.
  21. providing you dont get stung on shipping and import duty is a good deal yeh.
  22. very good pictures. havnt seen some as good as that for a while
  23. everyone knows they are skips anyway
