  1. All you read above is pretty correct. The main reason was for lack of sales in the entry price bracket. When producing bikes you have to sell x many to make it feasible and for maybe the last 3 years its not been possible. We fell to maybe 90% reduction in sales in about 5 years. With no competitor taking our place there wasn't a lot we could do.Maybe one day we will be back.
  2. 26" was thought about but as a mass produced frame its not plausible. Its a CNC disc mount. Saints with 180 rotors arnt recommend on a standard forged mount.
  3. No official photos yet, this is Ian Drummonds down at Tarty days. Ill pop some more info and pics up when I get them. 24" GEO tba, 12mm through axle, Intergrated chain tensionor. Special PTA seat tube, flaired to the bb to increase stiffness. HS33 mounts, Cnc disc mount Supplied with a 12mm bolt through hub, screw on. Allows cutomer to run front or rear freewheel or fit something like a Hope 12mm. Also in nice new laquered colours. Prob include sticker kit so customer can decide if they want them on or not.

  5. Well done mark, nice vid. Well done to everyone at tarty too. Loved every minute of it apart from electrics in the rain. The red frame was the woodstock proto. Drummond and Meek are building them up and testing them. Sure you will be informed of their progress.
  6. Thanks for the comments guys, It was a great week and I had such a good time with them. Alex did a great job with filming it and editing. If budgets allow us then I'm sure we will do more. Sorry for the delay in making it downloadable...........It is now.

They stayed in a villa for 7 nights and the final edit of the entire trip is just being finished. The Video should be released this week.......Ill post the link in this thread when its ready. The riders included Adam Morewood, Owen Garwthorpe , Alec Wray, James Davies, Joe Seddon , Brett Penfold Jack Meek and Ian Drummond. Here are some stills of the edit for the time being.

  11. 94 g is the weight, 6 g heavier then the 05 lever. Care to share then 2013 pic? The pistons will be available but the magura ones will fit too.
  12. They are based around the dimensions of the 05 magura. They weight will be similar. Like some one said earlier,, they are an improvement on the magura. More robust , more comfortable and more responsive. Split clamp lever, CNC TPA , hardened anodized finish. The embossed logo is like that due to them being left or right compatible and it had to be embossed as tensile has invested a lot of money into the tooling required to make this.

  14. I'm pretty sure jack didn't wake up one morning and change his bars to that angle. He did it gradually, it suits his style. I suggest everyone just let's their riding style develope naturaly and not see what the best riders do as they do not copy they just adjust to themselves. Interesting first post though, it does puzzle me on why it feels better but not worth producing something to compair with it.

  16. Too late but good idea. Banked for future on that model. Seeing the bike in the flesh may change you mind a little about the graphics. They are single colour and it is a pretty powerful with that much chrome, It needed breaking a up a little when we drew it and I gotta say it was the right idea.
  17. Mark the point I was making is that internal headsets we buy have a better money to weight ratio. Your right about the forks, they will be available after market so we made them dual mounts where as the better more expensive forks on the genesis will be Maggie only. Frames and forks will available aftermaket too. Weights and price's will available in August. Gen forks have lasted seddon 10 months so far. Usually he breaks forks on a 3 month basis. So far so good.
  18. Personally I prefer the looks of the internal headtube. Where the forks blend into the frame is a nice to touch imo. Also a cheap internal headset is about 70 grams lighter then a expensive external headset.
  19. Hi all, Please ignore the stem on the Genesis as the production model will come with the correct 180mm stem. They have also set the bars up in the far east not quite right but I'm sure those that saw them in the flesh at Fort Bill last weekend will have liked them. Genesis 20" 1000 +80 350 Weight TBA but around 8.8KG RRP £999 Vox 1010 +70 350 Weight TBA but around 9.4KG RRP £749.99 Both available to buy August the 3rd.
  20. Ha ha, Its going to be here next week as a sample full build. No pic until after Fort Bill but it will be there along with the Genesis 20".

  22. You will be after the Vox then. Same frame apart from it has disc tab and the geo is +70 and 72 , 1010 wb. No snail cams though as I have to agree with Craig. oh and its polished.
