  1. same frame apart from we changed the name due to us adding extra support to the rear triangle thus not making it 1.6 KG.So we went for Limey 3 incase any furter mods would change the wait again.
  2. Would not dream of a rise, Its like bloody working for a charity. ha ha. Adding Ben to the team shows a real sign of progress for us, The team we boasted before showed real class and now its being supported by a world champion. What more could you want. Ben came to the head office and showed real enthusiasm for the company which gave us a massive confidence boost. Ben will be riding a Limey 2 for the next month to keep him in training and once the Limey 3 arrives (hopefully 4 weeks) he will have that to aid his abilitys. Thank you for your comments guys, Personally I feel this is a huge boost for the British trials community. British riders on British bikes. From the young lad starting out on a Rip to the cream of the Britain competing against the dominant force of the rest of the world. The rest of the team and I would like to take this moment to welcome Ben and hope he has one heck of a season!
  3. I have to agree with you rowan and drei for that matter, Weight is only important if the bike performs as well. Say the bike is around 10 kilos, I cant actually make it lighter un less I had a drill. Low weight has the inevatable dis advantages, you take it off the frame it becomes "too flexy" or "Snap happy" you put silly light weight componants on it I.E tyres you get "roll" "pinchs"" less bounce", This bike my friends is the best ratio of weight vs performance we could possibly do on a "Standard build". As for the warranty Rowan, Trials= No warranty ha ha. Unless I charge you £1000 a frame thus making enough profit to send you 3 replacements, But on a seriouse note Of course you get warranty. Thanks for the comments guys, I can safely say we are pleased with the bike and hopefully I can annouce soon a new world class rider who will also be showing it off this year.
  4. Around that weight as my scales are made for Royal Mail, not very precise. With them conti's and lighter tubes you could be looking at more like the 9KG mark.
  5. What do you mean "a bit lame", As I said 18 16 /18 15 makes it in the middle, Drei likes 16 14 which puts it at the back. There is still room on there to tighten for stretch. So the frame was designed around 18 15.
  6. Just been chatting about that this morning, but its up to Drei. He likes Maxxis and has never tried the Conti's. He might change them, But at the end of the day thats the tires not the bike. Not too sure on the price yet, Could be be expensive due to the current economy I.E Exchange rate etc...... We shall see in about a month as this one was the first off the production line and flown in with out the graphics.
  7. Thats just where is has to be to get a 16 14 ratio tight, It would be more in the middle on a 18 16 or if we used a half link it would be in the middle but it still measures 383mm CS approx so no probs.
  8. Just thought you might like to see his new bike for this season. Geo 1090 +35 380
  9. Think what you have to remember is that back 10 years ago a jump frame was a possible trials frame. I remember when the DDG shooter was around, 4 years before that became a trials bike it was a dirt jump bike. So when people list things on Ebay or on websites they are just reffering to the fact you can do old fashioned style trials bits on them. Look at the old Giants the Martyns had, I think people that are not from the trials world tend to see that stlye of frame still in their heads.
  10. It depends if you have a rear freewheel or not? The T-Bird crankset has a 24 t chain ring attached to the bash. The T-Pro crankset is the next affordable crankset for front freewheeling systems.
  11. Thanks Danny, Looks sweet built up. Of course I'm happy with you. Just wanna see that beast being ridden, Streety streety! Cheers
