  1. We would like to invite you to Ekstremsportveko, the largest extreme sports festival of its kind in the entire universe (as far as we know). Lots of different action sports gather together, with music, parties, competitions and fun. Trials is a part of this for the seventh time, whereas Ekstremsportveko has a 20th year anniversary in 2017. There will be three trials competitions: video comp (unique format), trials jam (prize money) and speed trials (prize money). There will be three guided tours: one street, one natural and one trials park. The trials park is pretty good, we organized the Norwegian Championship here the two previous years, and we're doing it in 2017 also. For more information, please visit https://ekstremsportveko.com/sports/bike-trial/ where you can read about the competitions and program, as well as registrate for the festival. If you got questions, hit me up with an email (see the link above for contact info) or post an entry here. Edit: We have a Facebook event too: https://www.facebook.com/events/114521749026833/
  2. Yes, and maybe trying to collapse more upon landing big drops? Tires and ass hit the ground simultaneously!
  3. Thanks! It's actually in Mataro (if you mean the natural spot in the woods), just 30 mins north east of Barcelona. This particular spot is located north of the city centre, close to Mataro Parc (shopping mall).
  4. Where should I practice my range of motion elsewhere?
  5. Threw together my best riding clips from 2016, and made an edit. I'd hope you like it
  6. Oh yes, it was. You can also see Hannes Herrmann in the background oh my god! Thanks for the feedback man!
  7. I just got back from a week of riding in Alicante. Here's the video. Hope you like it I've also updated my blog day to day, and there are lots of photos at eiriktrials.com.
  8. Joacim Nymann just won his second indoor Swedish Championship title. Hurray! I visited him last Sunday, and we made a short video together. Both were kind of tired, him due to a late night, me due to a hard day of riding the day before. But, I hope you enjoy it!
  9. I made another indoor video, this time on the westcoast of Norway (you probably seen the place in TRA videos). Tried to make more of an edit, instead of the normal clip compilation. Also, the pace is down a few notches, not the usual turbo editing I tend to do. Hope you like, and please tell me what you think.
  10. Thanks man! Trying to keep the pace up, so no breathing at all! Thanks a lot! Maybe I'll try them on a mod in the future? Haha! Thanks for putting me in the 1,01%. That means a lot, Andy! Thank you! Thanks for the props! I completed almost all of the lines in one take (except a few of the bigger moves in the beginning of the lines, which I did, and then afterwards did the technical part) and then afterwards put in the alternative angles to make it better. Too much cheating?
  11. Indoor lines is a video where I try to come up with technical and creative lines, paired with a few big moves and some flow. Most of the lines are completed in one take, then I re-shoot a few of the moves to get a better angle. Hope you like it!
  12. Cheers! I guess I'm influenced by the continent on which I'm riding at. The UCI section style at the moment is pretty far from true trials. It's all about being able to jump high/far, not very technical. It's fun, but I'd love to see more old school section where you have to think for 30 mins before every obstacle to sort out the line.
  13. I managed to film quite a lot of my races this season (well, technically someone else filmed it, but.. Haha). Thought I could share it here. Riding from worldcups, world champs and Norwegian cups. I hope you like it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXNmnaiZYjY
  14. I made a short indoor video. We just got two new indoor places around the Oslo area, dedicated to trials. Both places are still being developed, but already lots of fun. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gtgARYkYRs
  15. I enjoyed that! Great riding Dave, and the spots look amazing!
  16. oh my god! Thank you again! I'll keep it up, easy to stay motivated with such positive feedback! I'm using the La Sportiva Ganda. I've been using Ganda since beginning of 2011. Yes, I'm sponsored by them, but I'm completely honest when I say I've have never used anything close to this shoe when it comes to comfort, grip and quality.
  17. Thanks a lot! My goal was to get that particular comment, as I wanted to show a mix of big and tech. Cheers! Thanks! What you call a Polar, is a Suunto. I train with this to measure the intensity of my workouts. It's such a great tool. I train a lot, so this helps me controlling the total work load, so I keep track of my recovery and avoid being over-trained. Cheers! The spots are all amazing!
  18. Thanks for positive replies. I managed to get my hands on the GT frame through the Norwegian distributor. Rumors are that the frame possibly will be available for sale when the prototype stages are completed.
  19. Here's my new video, captured during my winter escape to Barcelona. Norway is hell from November to end of March if you're a trials rider. Or, it usually is like that. This winter it was quite okay actually. But I couldn't predict. Barcelona was great though, I was riding a lot at all these super nice places. The concentration of trials parks and natural places are immense. I think you can ride a new spot every single day for more than a month. Thanks to all the riders, which I now see as friends. David, Joan, Sergi, Pol, Dima, Dani, Nachos, Roger, Ferran, Escu and many more. Hope to see you all soon! The video is a self-edit. I just put the camera on a tripod, and try my line a couple of hundred times or something. I tried my best to find a mix between technical lines and bigger single moves. Hope you like it! https://vimeo.com/93306682
  20. Pretty sure this is about Rockman. At least I'm in that situation, and never going to sell their parts anymore. Too bad about Koxx, thought they were on the right track with the new parts and stuff..
  21. Thanks guys! I will bring the complement to my filmer! Cheers!
  22. Thanks Dave! Yeah, we should've got more riding, but we only got a few days for filming unfortunately. Hehe, Red Bull before training, and I was training straight after breakfast
