Welcome to the forum! Well to answer your brake question, it depends on differnt things. Most people use a magura hs33 rim brake becuase of their good bite and hold and a wide selction of brake pads But people use Cable discs such as Avid BB7s or hydrolic discs Hope Mono Trials. Poeple have they own personal prefernces on what to use i would go with a magura becasue they are easy to set up and if looked after last for ages. With the Dob frame, they are very very weak so expect to find some crack a few months down the line, id take a look on www.tartybikes.co.uk and have a look at the new Zoo! frames. And never buy from TrialsUK!!!

What would one have to do to shorten a pro2? Would it just be shorten the axle and the little bit where the sprocket sits on?

My profile is loud, i had to strip mine down to replace the shell so while it as in bits gave everything a proper clean. For lube i just smeared four stroke engine oil over the prawls an bearings with my finger.

Its Matt smith isnt it? All the TGS classed riders are all from 'up north' and ride altogther thats why they have simular styles and push each other doing different moves. Thats what i think anyway..

Why dont the 'Tgs' style riders and the 'street' riders just stick to posting in their own sort of threads. Like the video threads not so much the trials chat threads. Tgs rider stick to posting in tgs style threads and street post in street threads unless you have something constructive to say.

Its not hard, just tap it down by a few mm each time and just keep checking.

ohh you mean the starnut. Just screw your top cap bolt in to it and tap it down with a hammer, make sure you do it far enough that you dont cut through it and make sure you dont tap it down too far the bolt wont reach.

He means the steerer tube coming out of the top of your forks cut that bit off so it sits couple of mm under your stem so your topcap nips up your headset.
