Hi all, Me and a few mates are interested in starting to get into comps but have no idea where to start. Ive searched the net but found no real useful info. Did read you need some kind of lisence to start with? Im from the Midlands so if anybody knows of any clubs or anywhere that run comps in the area let me know. Any help is appreciated. Cheers Jonny

What are the advantages, if any, of front freewheels on a 26"? Im guessing you need special cranks etc? Also what gives you the front freewheel? Is it the BB? Sorry if these sound like daft questions, just need to know. Thanks!

I bought my bike off eBay second hand and it had ground rims but I think they need re-doing. What is the best way to do it? Cheers

Its looking good now! As far as parking goes, if you head away from the town centre from the station you come to "Victoria Park". Not sure if theres any free spaces but I will check in the week and try to find the best place to park and post it. Looking forward to seeing you all.

This will be the first ride I have "organised" so anyone who can make it please do! The more the merrier. Me and a few mates fancy a ride (were from Leicester) but are not great riders. We usually ride Leics Uni / city centre area but would like to discover new places so if you know somewhere good, come down and show us around. Meet at Leics Station about 10.30. See you there! Sweet thanks for all the replies. Unfortunately im away this weekend but was talking to a few mates and tryin to get a ride going next weekend (I belive its a bank holiday weekend?). Were all a fairly low standard, used to all ride as a group when we were younger (looking about 7 years ago now) but are all getting back into it and loving it! We just need a few more people down for a ride really. Any ability. Ill post again in the week next week to try and sort something next weekend.
