  1. I was thinking of getting it as a project to be honest. Repaint it etc, but it sounds best to leave it alone right?
  2. Sorry all, was just a quick question. I havnt got any pics, but was thinking of getting it and tidying it up a bit. New paint, maggy's etc. Ive got a mission magura compo at the minute and was wondering which people thought was the better of the two if i put hs33's and drilled rims off the mission onto the base so they were the same spec?
  3. Alad i know is selling a Base T19 bike. Its in fairly good condition, and is v-braked, good tyres etc. Looks like a nice bike. Is £100 good?
  4. Yeah im from dewsbury but not many people hear of dewsbury so i say wakefield. Spend most my time in wakey anyway. I got a mission compo magura ( first bike ) from you probably know it, bike shed in scisset? Where do you ride, i cant seem to find any good places? Oh yeah.... MAGNERS RULES !¬
  5. Magners is great stuff, i love it. Yeah the summer is here, im going to catch up on my R/C hobby whilst its mended properly.
  6. Ha ha, the tlc and support is great but theres just one thing... she wouldnt wipe my ar*e when i asked politly! Not sure why?
  7. Im down and out for a while. Was out riding last weekend and after a sidehop up a ledge and a drop off the other side, it felt wrong and i came down hard on my wrist. After 30 mins of shaking and feeling sick i looked at my wrist and thought "those lumps poking up under the skin arnt usually there" so i got my girlfreind to put my bike in my car and drive it bk uninsured to the hospital. Its broken and is in pot now for 4-6 weeks. My hand pongs! Ill be bk on the bike once its fully healed. Ah well, i cant even open my bottles of magners!
  8. My frame was flexing alot so i got a a 4 bolt booster for the rear. It has stopped most, but not all the flex. As for the brake feel, it doesnt feel any different but it has made it quieter as said before. Mines carbon fibre so weight isnt worth thinking about.
  9. That looked sick, can hear you slap the floor!
  10. Shipley glen, is that nr to baildon moor?
  11. Hey, i was just wondering if any riders meet up any where during the week? Id like to pop along. Im a begginer and would like to meet other riders for a little help. Cheers, Danny.
  12. Hi, i did trials about 6-7 years ago and just recently ( a few week) i wanted to get back into it. I had enough money to get a really good pro trials bike, but simply couldnt stomach spending so much to find out it might not be as good as you thought. I spent £400 on my mod and im loving it so far and IF i carry on and decide to take things to a new level i would get a "better" bike. Your a begginer, your bikes going to get scratched up and knocked so maybe you wouldnt feel so gutted damageing a cheap bike. Also, if i was about to get sacked, id spend a small amount and save some money to live on and bike repaires/spares.
  13. Thanks for the bike tips, ill get some thread lock on the bash guard then. What do you think to the bike? I did a search and it seems not many people have this bike.
  14. Ok, was going out for a ride and was chewing a rowntrees fruit gum. I chewed it for a while and rubbed it around my rear rim and it works much better. Alot noisier though. lol. Im getting the hang of the pedal kick too. The 1 finger braking helps alot. Gona order some brake boosters from Tartybikes, any reccomendations as to which are good?. The bolt space is about 95mm.
  15. Thanks everyone, The rear brake was spot on at locking up for the first two days but its now starting to slip. Im gona get some brake boosters for the back as i can see it pushing the frame out. Ive just had another few hours on it and im finally getting the pedal kick. I also started 1 finger braking and it feels quite comfortable now. In the words of Ronald Mcdonald, Im loving it. Thanks for the link, that will be very helpful to me.
  16. Hey everyone. I picked up my new trial bike this afternoon afterwork. Its a Mission Compo Magura 20" Mod. Im really impressed with it so far, seems well built and feels nice to ride. Ive been riding in the garage for a few hours and just learning the basics. I started to learn the rear wheel hop but could only go backwards but i can now hop on the spot. Im having trouble with the pedal flick though. I took all the reflectors and bell off and lowered the tyre pressure before i started riding. I need some brake boosters, especially on the back so im gona have a look for some of these at the weekend. Cant wait, just wanna get practicing.
  17. Ah man, im in a dillema. Da bomb sounds not quite as good as the t-pro but its £120 less. Will i learn faster and easier on the t-pro or the Da bomb and will £120 spent on the Da bomb be a better bike than the t-pro? Im 5' 9" if thats any use to you. I dont know what to do This is the bike... http://www.bikes4trials.com/products.php?p...1p315&i=308

  19. Ive looked on ebay and there are several. Just words in my mind say NO. Theyve been riden and as usuall on all sales "its only been riden 4-5 times". They could be ready to snap or things ready to go wrong. From a shop ive got comeback, warranty etc and i no its never been riden hard. Just my 2 pennies. Right, roll on saturday, im off to the shop!
  20. Thanks everyone. Im going to go to the shop this weekend coming and take a look. Will 99% likely to buy one otherwise i wouldnt be going. Lol. Is there anything i should alter on the bike to make it easier to learn on or just jump on and ride?
  21. Cheers, it is a limited price so wouldnt mind getting in there. Is it good for a begginer?
  22. Ive seen onza t-pro in a local cycle shop for £420. Its a 2006 T-Pro, HS-33 f/r brakes with hog drilled rims, with Creepy Crawler tyres. Is this a good price and is it a good bike for an ex-trialer getting back into it 6 years on? Thanks.
  23. Im from nr wakefield and also up north yorkshire in scarborough at the g/f too. Right, so thats a decent base to start on. I had a medussa trial crank all those years ago and a friend did also, and the mounting boss rounded off on both of them. What forks will work with that frame and whats the approx weight?
  24. Hi, a great site you have going here. I used to trial ride about 6 years ago and im trying to get back into it. I had a 26" but due to the size of my car i would like to buy a 20" mod so it fits in the rear. Im so far behind on whats good and whats not i thought you guys could help me out please?. As above i would like a 20" mod Im 5' 10" and about 9stone in weight, would want to use mags hs-33's, and would like a lightweight frame, my budget is around £300+ I was looking at this frame... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Onza-T-Pro-Mod-Trial...1QQcmdZViewItem Is this any good to start off with and what crank would you reccomend for it? Any help is apreciated.
