  1. I had this problem with my freewheel. The tool for removing them is simply useless! The only way we have found to remove them is to weld a length of steel to the freewheel pop it in a vice and keep turning untill it comes off! (a mallet/hammer can be used) They are absolute nightmares to get off! Enjoy Sam p.s hope ive helped http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;#entry1318463 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;#entry1319323
  2. it will be for a 1/8th bmx chain yeah! Is there some underlying probs? Ben and I should be doing this today. Sam...
  3. Thing is it is an echo 06 so its wierd as u say it fitted on my tpro wheel fine. Sam.
  4. Im using a T-Pro. Although the hole for the chain tugs wont fit on the axle??? Will have to drill them out to make them fit. the hole at the minute is far to small??? Sam.
  5. Hi all, Just wondering peoples opinions on me modifying gusset chain tugs to fit where my old snail cams did on my echo 06 rim?(echo hub as well) Have any of you tried this and failed/succeded? Just thought id ask before I did anything that will damage any part of the wheel especially the hub and axle. All im thinking of doing is just coreing them out to make them fit the space where the snail cams should go. Is this stupid??? Is there any issues that im over looking?? Im always a bit wary when i have ideas! Thanks in advance. Sam.
  6. One of my m8s (at uni doing medicine not that makes it right) swears by pint of water 2 teaspoons of sugar and 2 of salt mix round and down in one! Apparently if you go to hospital with any drink related overdose style problems they give you a little pill that has everything in it to recover from a hangover. This drink is pretty much the same (he says). All it does to me is make me want to chunder! Worked though. Sam...
  7. Im going to stick with my decision! Thanks for the imput guys! Cheers N Wood i hope it will turn out like yours. Sam...
  8. So what do i do about the one ive just bought from a top bloke on here? Keep it and hope for the best or ask him kindly to give me my money back? Dont want to mess him around but dont want a piss weak rim either! Sam...
  9. This one I bought is apparently true and got no dents or flat spots. (it has got a small gap (0.5mm) at the top of the sidewall. is this a biggie? I guess its just down to how people ride them more than the actual rim being 'soft'? No reputable company would make a 'weak' product? Sam... p.s the stuff being done on the Tunni vid is mental though in all fairness!.
  10. Just bought a Echo 06 rim, just wondering what everyone thinks of them. Before everyone says "should have got an 07" i was on a tight budget. Cheers Sam... p.s i did use the search
  11. Hmmmm, well there was definatly only one missing its just so annoying trying to tighten the cones all the time especially without the assistance of a cone spanner. Thanks though mate. Any other ideas? Sam...
  12. Hi all, need some advice from all of your mighty brains! My rear wheel is shaking like mad when the bolts are tightened! First idea was it would be the cones but i tighten them and about a three seconds of riding and the bloody wheel is shaking again! So i took the wheel off again this time opened up my fixed style hub and the side nearest the sprocket is bent and twisted. I bent this back somthing like and cleaned inside the hub and regreased, and put back together. However, one of the bearings in the hub was missing (opposite side to sprocket) :$ dont no whether that was me or not! So, what do you peeps think the shaking is caused by? Is a new hub on the cards or is it just a case of im rubbish? Thanks in advance Sam
  13. Im at uni and still run my car. Was living in halls at my uni to. is very do'able. A car is such an asset to have whilst at uni! Get to see places and go places outside of the uni without walking what could be better? I know loadsa people with their cars at uni. Sam...
  14. If you still get no luck it could be somthing to do with the piston in the lever. My brother had the same problem when water bleeding nothing happened. We took the lever apart cleaned it all up with the helpful use of an air compresser and tried again and it worked. When the air went down the cables loads of black debris came out. That might be your problem? Good luck mate Sam. . .
