Well thanks for replys guys, well i'd never heard of them too but they seem quite good, so none of you have tryed them though? Also do any of you know of other brakes i could use and not a cable or hope/tech as there way too dear at the mo!

Phat pads are can be use for both fella. Have used them for a year on smooth with no probs what so ever. ok so why only now they dont work?? Now water cost me a new maggie so why would i do that again ,

Will try new pads but phat pads were mint, may just a refil will sort it? smooth rim no grind, water a no go(Y)

Hey guys, Well i got a rear maggie with phat pads, when i tap it will hold but on pre-loading it don't i can roll the rear wheel back, it will even roll back with little movements it just dont have that bite no more. I have sanded the pads, cleaned the rim, put new oil in (twice to make sure no air etc) also set them up to many times with no joy. Pads have life left on them. Help ,
