  1. Start from the beginning. To get a good video, you need good editing, to get a good edit, you need good footage, to get good footage, you need good riding... Riding wise, try to go for interesting lines. Even single moves like gaps are entertaining if they're interesting. Same old sidehop onto a wall doesn't impress, really, unless you really get a sense that it's big. Among other things (weather being one of them) Now, I've never edited a video, because it wasn't on the course that I did at college, but I still know one or two things that will help you out. Firstly, watch a shitload of videos. This is to learn where to position the camera, first of all, or whether or not you include a rolling camera, how you can use different shots to affect the final product. You might also pick up some cool ideas about editing, like for the intros. Then, film your sick footage. Be prepared to film things from many angles, and lots of time. Get loads of footage. You might find that doing a closeup of the wheels as they roll would look cool edited in, for example. Go nuts, film things from loads of angles. You'll get the idea of which clips you want in particular whilst you're doing it. You might, during filming, get an idea of which song you want to use. Make sure it's suitable. Nothing fast suits trials, and nothing intense. Then, edit it together. Go for simple transitions, time moves to the music, don't overuse effects. This includes slow mo (you might for example only choose to slowmo the clip of just the wheels you shot earlier on). Feel free to show people your editing, then ask them to compare it other videos. Don't just ask them if they like it, they might just say yes to shut you up. Can't think of anything else right now, except - Definately get someone else to hold the camera, and definately don't film it with a phone, it looks shit. Oh yeah, if you film any stuff on that bank again, I will, if I see you on a ride, poke you in the eye.
  2. Was I the only person to vote for all three? No. Good work, TF.
  3. Yes, I think there's a guide in the wiki for it, and it's caustic soda anyway...
  4. Aaah, T-pros are anodised? Get some mr. Muscle, that will do the trick
  5. I dunno about the word belm, but I think that face is universal. It means, 'YOU'RE f**kING THICK!'
  6. Yeah, I think a proper wide angle is very useful for filming, and you can get them that barely distorts round the edges. Krisboats has a good wide-angle.
  7. Sure, a bath of caustic soda would work, but it would destroy your bath. Either nitro mors it, or sand blast it.
  8. Splendid sydney you've performed there.
  9. how come? I'm guessing there's knack all trials out there, just that skatepark?
  10. That's pretty damn dodgy, but it doesn't mean he f**ked the kid in the ass, though...
  11. Prove to us he was? A kid saying he did isn't proof. I'm staying sat on the fence, its just, there's no proof either way.
  12. Having never watched a harry main video, I now see what all the fuss is about.
  13. Hah, I doubt that. You can do bmx tricks on your trials bike... What are you going to do to get the bikes to Dubai?
  14. I was going to post the video where the little robot thing says that in Family Guy's Blue Harvest, but I can't find it.
  15. Pfft. If I sidehop to the other side, it feels horrible. If you want to be at sidehops, then learn it to both sides, if you just want to be able to sidehop somewhat, it doesn't matter.
  16. GUs are pretty heavy. Maybe go for a more mid-weight frame. The new zoo!s look promising, dunno about the weight though.
  17. I herd evo mounts make the brake toss. You may as well spend your money on a decent V brake, it will work just as well.
  18. What side you do it doesn't matter. If you get your front wheel on, lean into it and pivot the back wheel on, job done! What does 'Bol Maaaaaaaing' mean anyway?
  19. They look sweet, looking forwards to seeing what you can do on a BMX...
  20. If you have QR wheels, or even if not, and you also undo the stem bolts, a bike will fold pretty flat so you could put it a few places - under the bed, in the wardrobe, in the bathroom if you have one...
