  13. I've been riding my 06 echo lite for a month or so now so I thought I would write a review about it. This bike is quite common but in all different specs this is the lightest model of the echo mods. I like the design of the frame and think that it is a quality build, the welding looks neat and tidy and the paint finish used on the frame looks really nice but is similar to most other frame. Also the frame stands out from other mod frame on the market because of the geo. So far I have used this bike for only street and it seems capable of handling it really easy. The geometry is something around 1005mm short, 60+ bb with onza trials forks.. Before I built this bike up I was riding an Onza t-bird to get a feel for trials. This bike had vee brakes, 22-18 gearing and so it was a completely different animal to my echo. I’ve found that balancing is easier and getting onto the back wheel is easier, I suppose with the different ratio it’s made easier too. Because I have made it front freewheel. The bike feels much more controllable, it feels nice and stable on the back wheel which makes my sidehopping more controlled and accurate. I feel that with this frame the different geo has enabled me to concentrate on my technique much more, which means I have improved all round. SPEC- - Magura hs33 rear brake koxx browns - Magura hs33 front brake koxx brown - tryall 07 rear rim on viz hub - stock onza t-bird wheel - Echo forged isis cranks with tensile freewheel - DMR v8 pedals - Zoo bars and Onza t-master stem Cane creek headset and truativ bottom bracket I paid £80 for the frame and I think that the whole build cost me roughly £400. I'm happy as this is a very good second proper trials bike, especially on my budget and I hope to be riding it harder soon! There are some things I would change on my bike is the forks as they are steel get some lighter ones. Also the front wheel as that would make the front lighter and id change the stem so the bike has a lower rise. Hope I’ve answered any questions, if not just ask Cheers Xan
  14. have you got msn? we need to talk about the frame im willin to buy it.

wb please i need a frame badly!!! cheers xan

  15. If your a beginner you want to start out on something like a onza t-bird or a t-pro. Because when i had first started out i had started on a t-bird then upgraded parts and frame to a t-pro as i got better. Plus there quite cheap for the price range that your at just go to www.tartybikes.co.uk or www.trials-uk.co.uk im bound they will have something for you!!
  16. Yes they actually do they have a catalouge and a magazine!
  17. well that answers my question!!! That would actually be a great idea, I'd probably buy it!
  18. Is it true tartybikes is bringing out a magazine because i have been told several occassions and im not so sure about it. Does anyone else know about it? Cheers, Xan
  19. Okay on my rear mount i had a siezed mount bolt and my alan key had rounded off in it. So i had hacksawed the head off the bolt and had tryed moving the bolt with a pair of mole grips, then the bolt had snapped so i was left with a bolt stuck right in the mount. What should i do? cheers, Xan
  20. dont bother having the land rover frame off your brother have a 20" becuase your way too small for a 26" and you will find things much harder if you had a 26". So for starters get something cheap and managable like a onza t-vee or t-bird.
  21. o my god u dont even ride trials!! go away ur annoying go get a bmx or somthing

  22. yeah maybe i should well i want a "26 soo bad lol
