i had the same with my logitech x-530 speakers at first the were so shit and not worth the £45.. making popping noises every so often, humming noise if the speakers were turned down/too loud and stupid foreign interference. but it seems now this has all gone away apart from the occasional pop, just give it time. i did however look it up at the time, it something to do with "grounding" which is a process taken during the manufacture of the speakers i think. so your speakers may have poor grounding like mine did, if your lucky it will go away however its worth searching for existing problems similar to that on the net. depends what make the speakers are, there may be a forum of such that you can ask about. hope this helped

I've just got that 22" one but was about to chuck my 17" away until you said this, is it worth dual screening? Wouldn't it look shit though?

Ok thats very strange! I was just browsing when i heard a noise (women speaking) coming from the speakers, i closed the browser and it the noise was still there. Possibly interference from a radio signal althought i don't know how that's possible.

Normal desktop PC do you want the spec or i suppose that's irrelevant.

Right, just bought a new set of speakers but they are being annoying and making a humming noise, either when the volume is nearly minimum/maximum it is loudest then. i have read up on this and discovered it is called Ground loop. If anyone understands this (i'm looking your way Mike ) and could recommend a solution, please give us a hand! Cheers, Sonny
