yea i deffinately think theres something dogey about this batch of "plaz" pads. ive had some plaz pads in the past, and they didnt have any grooves in them, and they cirtainly didnt wear as quikle as these have!! ive got yellow brake dust all over my rim and hub from this, and ive only riden on the about 4-5times, and ive hardly got any pad left on the backings. at first i just thought that it was going to stop wearing sooooo fast, but im affraid they havent. prawney, are you sure they are plaz pads, because they dont really seem it to me

everything is all tight and straight on it, and the wheel fits in the forks fine, but its just that when i put the wheel in, its all staright and is inline with the centre of the forks, but when i pull my brake its "lop-sides" to the left, and then when i feel my wheel in the forks it feels as if my cones are loose in my hub, when they arent?! and ideas?! jak Ps. is that a mayor hint to buy your forks biguss?!

sorry if this has already been asked, but if your just going to this to ride and not compete, do you still need to fill out a koxx days form?! thanks, jak

hey all, i am currently running echo pure forks on a magura louise. since i have been running this set-up, i have been having problems with my cones and axel in my front hub, no matter how tight i put my cones, they still felt loose. so i changed the fornt wheel, and even with this new front wheel, it still feels the same, and i am wondering wheather its to do with the brake and fork set-up i have. (currently running an 03 caliper louise dual-pot) does anybody else have this problem?! any tips on how to stop this?! thaks all, jak

yea, i have to bloody work on the 1st aswel, i tried to get a "holiday" for that day, but they said 'no you got to work, youre contracted!' i was like but i did manage to blag around my hours a little bit, dont have to be in until 1 30, so i can at least have abit of a lie in. why the hell are they open on new years anyway?! dont they have family?! or an immune system that makes them hung over after a good NEW YEARS party?! its not on really! - we should get a pertition going of all the people who think new years thing is a crap idea, and send it to head office, and go on strike!! haha all up and down the UK! jak

well there arent any trains that run on a sunday (to plymouth from here). if i had some way of gettin a lift or something, then id call in sick at work, but i dont think theyll let us on the bus with our bikes thats not a very nice thing to say prawn! jak

hey all, there is a ride in taunton this weekend, including the usual taunton lot, and also steve and rob that barny lot! not sure what day they are coming down yet, so i thought id post a weekend ride. the usuall taunton lot should be out on both days depending on work arrangements, but i garuntee that people will deffo be out on each day... so why not make it more!! :P thanks guys, jak :)
