the "covers" over the disk in moto trials is only plastic. its only there to stop the disk getting caked in mud on outdoor trials. although i have thaught about using a larger disk than i run and mount it somewhere, where it will stop me hitting my normal disk. probably a silly idea as it would just be a waste of a disk.

i had this was bad form of eczema i stopped riding for a couple of weeks. i started riding again and it flared up again. i tried everything all the creams prescribed by a skin specialist. gloves. grips everything. this is the main reason i no longer ride my bikes sat in the garage doing nothing. i love trials but as soon as i ride my hands go gay. i would just grin and bear it but when my hands flare up i struggle to work. i sympathise with you. try running your hands under boiling water as this seemed to stop mine itching for a while. gurd luck dude
