f**k off? It's having fun on a bike, get over it. We did it in Newport and it was probably one of the best days of the tour, new riding styles, nice bit of flow to things, mixes your riding up no end. Just 'cos it's not a poor attempt at imitating a crab doesn't mean it's "taking the piss". Stop being so narrow minded. Pics are awesome, really reminds me of our day at Newport back in august, was great fun!

I'd not go with a disco, granted they're alright for what they're designed for - but as standard they suck from my experiences with them. They're long, have huge overhangs on the front and the back, you have to cut the arches out to fit any form of decently sized tyres on them, and they rust like a motherf**ker...

Definitely! You could pick up a Series 3 leafer just to play with cheap enough taxed and tested, they're more than capable in most situations you'd get yourself into with a half decent set of tyres on. I know of one going that needs very little doing to get it ropad legal for £250, most taxed and tested ones hover at about <£750 Alternatively, you could get what in many people's eyes is a bit of an automotive abortion (like i'm looking at doing this weekend) usually comprising of a series body, cut down range rover chassis, coil springs, big engine, big tyres. They're a very grey area, but if it's only being used to play with they're fine, perfectly road legal unless you get silly. Something like that'll take you further than any 90 would. They're great for things like that. Or a bobtail rangey, they're cheap, most get fairly battered and are treated just like toys and carry small price tags. With the above, the Hybrid's tend to be nicely under a grand (the one i'm going to look at this weekend's going for £350 and only need the electrics sorting for an MOT) likewise with the range rovers.

My sentiments exactly Dave... Jack, send Sue a message (forum_mum) if it's that important to you, but it's their call. You should just respect that and let it lie, not try and run it anyway. Chatting to Sue, Charlie and Sam at the ride last year (and using some common sense) there's some very valid reasons behind it. I'm sure that that's probably come across in the completely wrong way but i cant think of a different way to word it at the mo.
