  1. Looks very tidy mate, one thing i cannot stand though is half finished jobs.. you should get a dremel and finish off the cut headtube.. and i would buff away the black paint on the inside of the cranks arms.. Other than that looks spot on

  10. Find some local Pikey who does his own little rental service and he'll give you it dirt cheap etc. Try like stuff4sale.co.uk and select it in your area and type rent; should give you a fair few results
  11. Also, make sure you've thoroughly flushed the fluid of all oil.
  12. I had many concerns when I first started riding brakeless BMX, with me riding down A roads majority of the time its pretty dangerous really, but as soon as you get on you start to be a lot more precautious, it helped my riding alot because I was more concious of the surroundings and used to know what I could or couldn't risk. At the same time it used to work in my favour ( Until I crashed ) when I didnt dare do something i'd just go for it and hope for the best, I'm considering trying brakeless on a mod

  14. T'was like watching something being printed, even the sounds matched it.
  15. I'd have to build this to make sure it worked, but it is a start. The rules don't say you can't buy pre-made components. So.... Go to a magic shop or a place like Spencer's Gifts and buy one of those gadgets that is sort of barbell shaped that has a low boiling liquid that will boil when you hold it in your hand. Hold it and all the liquid moves to the bulb on the other end. Let it cool and the liquid returns to the bottom. This gives you a source of heat powered shifting weight. Design a rocking platform with a crank-shaft to hold the gadget . Candle goes on the end that you would hold in your hand. Theory of operation: Heat gently with a candle, liquid boils and moves to other end, heated end rocks up away from candle, cools, rocks back down driving crank-shaft moving car. Build it light and it should work. Or Build a small boiler and make a steam jet powered car WAITTTT GOT IT This one is Time Consuming but Works, and I Think Every Young & Adult can Have Fun Using this Method. Get Yourself a Candle which is about 4 Inches in Circumference, {Depending on how Big a Wheel you're working With} Cut the Candle into The Size of a Wheel you're going to Use, Make Four Wheels. You will make Small Holes in the Wheels {Candle} ) where an Axel Usually Goes, You will then Take a "Rubber Band" and Thread it through the Hole in the "Candle Wheel" and take a Wooden or Plastic Spool that Came from a Spool of Thread {Bobbin} and Put Wheels on one Sides of the Spool. You will then put one Wheel on Both Sides of the Spool thread the RB Through Wheels and Spool. You Should now have a RB loop on Both Sides of the Contraption ). You will find Yourself a 2 Round Popsicle Sticks {I Bet Right about Now you're thinking that I'm some Kinda Nut!}...Smile! Cut One of the Sticks in Half, take one Half and Thread it Through one End of one Loop, and do the same with the "Whole Stick" on the Other Loop. With one Hand, "Hold the Cut Side Stick Firm" and With the Other Hand you Will Wind the RB "Clockwise" {For Forward Gear} and "Vice Versa for Reverse. You Now Have a Candle Powered "Thingamajig" Find a "Principle" to Hook it Up on Your Toys! Cut COGS on the Edge of the Spool for Traction. Source(s): The "Candle Wheel" MUST be SMALLER in Circumference than the Spool for it to RUN!...Spool is "0" and Candle is "o" Have Fun or go "COO COO" In the Attempt...) {Not to Worry! I Have it Patented"...Smile!
  16. Another thing to note is that you haven't put too much tar on, if you have just ride it off..
  17. http://koxx.fr/index.php?lg=en_EN&sec=trial&pg=news&id=HDDB4589685607dfb So what you said up there was irrelevant towards the koxx.
  18. Just noticed this paint on my browse for my new bike colour. http://www.monstercolors.com/product_info.php?products_id=127 Its bitumen tar based, so surely if you spray this on in a thin coat, it would work exactly the same and maybe even last longer. What do you all think, Ollied
  19. Up to fronts are slippy, the pads are on their second ride, but the first ride was poo cos my diaphragm had gone so wasnt under much pressure.. And dragging it it makes a bit of noise in 2 places, and when you put pressure on it makes the noise every time.
  20. What shall i use to clean it.. ?
  21. was thinking that, would that also mean the braking performance isnt really amazing..
  22. Got a new hope brake ( second hand) , jsut bled it and put my brand new pads in etc. When i pull the brake it makes a loud noise, like a deep creaking/groaning noise.. Kind of like a quiet lorry horn.. Was wondering how i combat this, are the pads contaminated? rotor contaminated? Or anything along those lines. Thanks Guys!
  23. Nice way to introduce yourself, being an arsehole.
