hello people off t.f. this is probably the last time i will grace the pages of this amazing forum.As of today i am unfortunately no longer part of the trials "fraternity" My ongoing injury to my knee has put a stop to that! This site has been an unlimited source of info(i have looked up info without signing on) so just a final farewell and keep up the good work

hello people of t.f i havent been on in a while but i thought i would tell you,and give a word of warning at the same time of somethin that happened to me while out riding by myself on the rocks down by the old high point pub i was riding a section i thought i could manage but as i lost my balance and dabbed i also lost my footing and nearly fell quite a distance i honestly think i would of been a gonner if my handlebars had not of wedged themselves in the rocks since then i aint been out on them rocks as my arse has dropped which is why i was typing you this word of causion IF YOU CAN,ALWAYS RIDE IN TWO'S OR MORE IT IS THE SAFEST OPTION CHEERS FOR READING

hello yeah i use a mad phase 1.2 converted it to single speed though.i think they are good though but then i wont be able to give an accurate oppinion as its the only bike i have ridden i use it for natural and street which it seems to do very well! the two things to change for the better in my opinion is a singlespeed conversion and some adamant white pads the dogs bollocks!!!!

ok that would be unique what chainset have you got up front?? just because i used to do downhill few years ago and you will realize with that ratio set up you will be free wheelin all the way down there will be no pedalling for you!!!! try it though to see how it works it could be quite interesting

well looking at the art of trials vid just before and he has a set of modded bombers on they look like they move about 1 inch if that so i cant see the point especially for trials hope this helps

well from what i was told it still worth keepin in mind the price of petrol had risen before th plant closed while the workers were on strike because of pay rise issues??

ok matey i will tell you my set up i am using at the moment a no name hub!!! a basic shimano 8speed cassette(hg 30) sram long cage (x3) rear mech inc.matching thumbshifter any 8speed chain!!!! but to be honest im sick of clunking them off rocks etc etc so am getting the money together to go single speed am sure this is the best option because you will probably find 1 gear you do everything in anyway 18,19 on rear 20,22 on front HOPE THIS HELPS

the fact that oil wells are getting harder to find etc etc why do you think petrol and deisel have all gone up???

hello T.F. thought you lot would like to hear some important info i have been told from a very reliable sorce. have had a look in th forum and cant see anythin on this issue so hear it goes!!!! AS OF JUNE/JULY THIS YEAR,COMPANYS THAT MAKE INNER TUBES WILL NO LONGER BE PRODUCING ANY UNTIL OIL CRISIS COMES TO SOME SORT CONCLUSION!!!!! THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE BUTYL THAT IS BOUGHT FROM THE OIL COMPANYS HAS DRASTICALLY WENT UP IN PRICE WHICH THE INNER TUBE COMPANYS CANNOT PAY SO YOU CAN EITHER PANIC OR BULK BUY MY LOCAL BIKE SHOP WAS WARNED ABOUT THIS FROM HIS SUPPLIER AND HAS STOCKED UP A GOOD SUPPLY (BOUT 4 MONTHS WORTH) HAS ANYBODY ELSE BEEN TOLD THIS???

hello the pads i am using at the minute are adamant whites on a medium grind they wear quick but are the dogs cahoonas!!! and they on special half price at tarty's!!!! hope this help's

i used to run gears on my phase and they were chronic!!! i had to shortened my chain to keep my guide wheels out the way on my rear mech and i have left it in a 22:18 ratio.i would say single speed all the way i'm gonna get a whole new wheel specifically set up for a singlespeed trials bike

hello again just aquick msg to all at T.F. why no replys on my last thread? people have read it but dont bother replyin. a simple reply would suffice to tell me im to old to ride with would i just cramp your style !!!!lol reply even if it to say no sorry cant make it etc etc when people are at there computers till 1.30 in the mornin hopin for reply it makes a new member like me think "why have i bothered??"
