I want to lose the disk and go rim brake but this may mean a new rim on the wish list. Has anyone ever tried a rim brake on a rim with drilled sidewalls? If so how did it work out?

I can't side hop either even though i can hop up high on the spot. As for you going to 26" it all depends on what you like, plenty of people are as good on 20" as others on 26" so that doesn't make a difference.

Well today I got my new frame so obviously I've rebuilt everything and the disk brake is working perfect. I'm not sure why, maybe it's just because the front end is alot lower than my Triad was so I'm getting over the front end more. Thanks for the help anyway.

That squeak used to irriate me alot aswell when I first started but you learn to love it and now the way I see it is, if there's no squeak it's not working!

Ok well it's deffinately fully bedded in and i'm pretty sure it's powerful enough so maybe I just need to be more over the front end

Ok so i'm starting to get fed up of this! I've made sure there's no crap on my disk, changed my pads and bled the brake but i'm still not getting the bite i want out of this brake. When I gap to front ect. the front gap is so crap it just doesn't hold at all! Anyone got advice for me? I'm getting a new frame on Sunday and I want to be sure that everything it working perfect.
