  1. I've got one for sale if you're interested. 250 plus postage thats for the full bike. Excellent condition, see: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....;hl=kabuki+mono New price since first advertised. Let me know, Cheers. Diz
  2. 26" trials, 26" DH and 24" Dirt jump. Anything that involves going up hill is pretty much out of the question along with anything that involves a bike with tyres thinner than the frame, or lycra. P.s. Why road ride when you can catch a bus or drive? Makes no sense.
  3. Its gotta be anodised components. When i started mountain biking (about 15 years ago) it was all the rage to get blue or purple anodised parts....despite the fact that they looked absolutely gay! Also, riser bars seemed relatively new at the time so every cool kid had them on their bikes! Oh, and also world force shorty stems...they were awesome! EDIT: Almost forgot....the DVD Dirt, with Jason McRoy and that lot. Suspension wasn't really invented much then so they're all on hardtails. And.....slingshot suspension bikes...how on earth they held together i dont know!? (pic below) Also....proflex bikes (elastomer suspension!!??!!??), girvin flex stems (elastomers again!!??) and spin wheels........man i feel old!!!
  4. I ride with a half link chain on my stock and have been running the same one for nearly ten months with little wear and certainly no breaks. I'm running it with a tensioner and i'm quite a heavy/sketchy rider. If you're running a tensioner i'd always say go for the normal chain as i'm sure they've gotta be a bit lighter. Although i haven't had any problems with mine, i'm still gonna be replacing it with a standard one when the time comes. Dont really see the point unless you wanna lose the tensioner, and then there's still no garuantee that there'll be enough tension unless you've got horizontal drop-outs. If you aint breaking normal chains, i'd stick with them.
  5. I'm gutted i've gotta work that weekend as it sounds like its gonna be awesome. Make sure you guys get a load of pics and put them on here.
  6. Normally just a pair of jeans and a tee-shirt. Depending on the weather may wear a hoody. Always wear gloves as it just feels strange without them and i've recently started wearing my 661 knee/shin pads again since my right shin cant take any more abuse....its in pieces!
  7. Yeh, unfortunately you'll get that a lot. I've just started telling people that because its only a cheap bike they didnt add a seat to cut costs. Kinda solves two problems. One being to make the person asking the question feel a little stupid, and two, generally the people that ask are chavs who are eyeing up the cost of the bike so that if the steal it they'll know how much its worth. By saying its a cheap one they usually aren't that fussed with robbing it....bonus!
  8. Is it not 30 foot? Still seems severe...just not as bad as 30 metres!
  9. I have to say i'm not a massive fan of the frame although it does look nice in the white (in my opinion). The price is high for a trials frame, but then if you condsider it is handmade and stocks are limited i guess you could say it was reasonable. As far as names go, who really cares what its called, as long as it rides nice. And lastly, the weight is quite beastly for a trials bike, but its only a pound or so heavier than the competitors. Thats only about 500grams, not a lot when you consider all the extra reassurance you'll get from knowing you can nail it into anything (hopefully) without it falling into pieces like some other featherweight frames. Its not a frame i'd personally buy due to cost/weight/possibly looks etc, but each to their own. It would suck if we all rode the same bikes.
  10. Nice video, love the stack onto the rail
  11. True....why not just pimp a proper bike rather than waste your money on a pile of crap?
  12. This seems to be a big step back to me. I dont understand why you'd want laonger brake levers...it just means you've got less fingers wrapped round the bars and less control. Also, for the anorexics out there, surely the longer levers weigh more?
  13. Best moment has to be when you're having a good day and everything just goes well...good times! Worst moment is the frequent occasions you're at the top of a large drop/gap and just as you kick the pedals to go, the bloody chain snaps/slips sending you over the bars...bad times!
  14. Me and a few mates were riding natty when we found this 6ft drop into a nice slope. It had a nice long run off but was tight at parts between a load of trees. My mate decides to launch off this drop at serious speed, lands perfect, follows the run out but as he was going between the trees got his pedal caught. His bike stopped dead and he went somersaulting over the handlebars. Never pissed myself so much in my life! Not sure my mate saw the funny side though.
  15. Sorry guys, arguements are strictly restricted to the members section, haha...unlucky!
  16. The system seems fine for everyone else. I was only on for a week or so before i became validated. You just need to read over the tips on getting validated and stick to the rules. P.s. saying the site is shit isn't really gonna help speed things along.

  20. I'm loving front to backs onto walls at the moment. Only just learnt them so each time still gives me a good buzz. Also, being single is an amazing feeling at the moment.......means you can go out and get laid without all the nagging and bitching that comes with it!
  21. Or find yourself some fanny! Most of the people on here arent old enough to drink...or dont look old enough to buy booze, thats probably why.
