  2. Sounds great! Really nice to see more comps in Scotland. How many different sections are there planned and for what skill levels?
  3. Next thing in trials bike technology perhaps?
  4. yeesss man, cool wee vid, filming on the rig itself kept things different rather than just filming from the side. looks as if yous had a good time
  5. I knoww bloody bulging! Last friday, i posted somethin on rides and locations but nobody had got back to me.
  6. yes i have them on my bike and they're pretty good for me, good bite but not too grabby so i can feather the brake for manuals etc. the hold is also really good, but obviously when its wet they are hopeless although they tend to get really bitey and grabby if you get just a little water on the rim as it cleans all the dust off, so when its damp the pads are awesome for bite if you like that sort of thing. i beleive they can be used on a very light or dead grind for wetter conditions which is a bonus. Dan
  7. Aye really nice, just could do with a hydraulic front brake and a stronger rear wheel.
  8. bb looks very low to me, could just be my imagination though lol :$

  12. yeah, definately made me alot smoother, less set up and recovery hops and less pedal hops, also my wheel placement and accuracy improved.
  13. nice, that is schweet! its probably the first and only custom Effect ive seen. nice spec too.
  14. Surely thats just a snap waiting to happen?
  15. yeah would be hard to convince the forestry commision. the best thing to do really is go to your local trail centre and find some natty sections of piste. The Ae, Mabie and dalbeattie 7 stanes centres are very close to where i live and they all have small trialsy sections off the main trail although ive never ridden them on the trials bike. Ive only ever seen one guy and his mate on trials bikes at mabie, they said they went to a good section just off the Dark Side, so i may go check it out soon, although i might feel a bit daft turning up to the centre on a trials bike
  16. Probably 5-9.9 hours a week, usually after school for about an hour or two, nearly everyday if i can, mostly on the trials bike. But the XC bike usually sees about 2-4 hours of use during the week and about 5 hours at the weekend depending on the weather. Exams are coming to an end now too so that means more time on the bike!
  17. Different...but in a good way . most 24's are either silver, black, white or blue (i must admit that yes i am a part of this group) . yellow makes a change. What seat is that you have?
  18. what have you done to the rear rim? tar? grind? both?
  19. DJ Shadow normally works well for 24" riding imo. A good mix of ambient/hip-hop. Also some indie/soft rock bands have some decent stuff to ride to.
  20. Brakeless natty ***! This just makes me get the onza hack bike out again and do some more brakeless!!
  21. geo? assuming you pick the rest of the kit well, should look good when finished
  22. Great riding Ross , looks like some pretty big stuff there.
